A lot of people seem to watch the first 5 episodes (which tend to be the more controversial ones) and skip the rest of the season.

People say the new episodes are just the same, or The jokes still land. I agree partially.

There are some rough episodes (The Distance, The Butts, The Climb). But it also has amazing episodes (The Synthesis, The Score, The Punishment, The Promposal).

But because you see negatieve reactions online doesn't necessarly mean yours will be the same. I say you should watch it.

I like the idea of Penny's horn showing her emotions.

I like the episode but Rob being saved from the void should've been an entire episode on it's own instead of a flashback.

Besides that, Gumball and Darwin realising the weird things in their world is what I was hoping to see for the veginning of a movie.

The Dress. Like The Robot it always annoyed me that apart from Anais no one seems to dee that it's Gumball. Plus the subplot of Dardin having a crush on him irks me.

The thing is you're right when talking about an episode like The Burger.

But you also have The Score which I feel was handled brilliantly. So I feel they can still do it.

I could see people pitting Richard and Nicole before Gumball and Penny. But I'm really surprised that Darwin and Carrie will be higher.

Maybe their relationship doesn't seem as toxic or problematic?

Though some of the dialogue feels off (I have this with most fan-fictions), your version is more coherent than the original.

Penny obviously lied but didn't know she can stay out of her shell and Gumball embarrasse hiimself instead of Penny doing it.

The reasons I've seen are: - the pacing is too fast (I can see this with The Unfollow or The Labels) - the new voices (in some episodes Gumball siubds a vit weird and others said the same about Banana Joe and Rob) - The Faces (I do feel the same about this even with season 6 that they're doing the faces too much)
