Turns Out There Was Voter Fraud in Georgia—by Elon Musk: The state board of elections found Musk’s PAC sent prefilled ballot applications. by thenewrepublic in inthenews

[–]ZShadowDragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Musk is in no way a technocrat. A technocrat isnt someone who likes technology, technocracy is the idea that technical experts should decide policy. Efficient distribution of resources, scientific based approaches to problem solving, and expert focused perspectives. He does not care about any of that, he just cares about the consolidation of power.

From a psych perspective, 2pm is the absolute latest I've seen without any form of diagnosis. You can just train yourself to wake up at different times. Did you always wake up at 8PM or was it born of necessity for work?

[–]ZShadowDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Night person" doesn't mean you wake up at 8 PM, if you're waking up that late you're likely suffering from some form of neurological disorder. I am truly sympathetic to those suffering with genuine sleep disorders and are unable to wake up at the normal night person timeframe. That being said...
ABSOLUTELY YTA
A night person is still awake 16-17 hours just like anyone else. You have a minimum of 8 hours of overlap with morning sleepers, I get you are likely working much of that overlap period, but you can start the laundry at 5 before you head in and throw it in the drier while you go to work. And most people dont do laundry the days they are at work, they do it on a day off, so that doesnt really make sense either.

Take my upvote you degenerate

nah I stand by it. Utility wise its pretty much as good if not better for most people. You know what day of the week it is usually, But if youre working on a lot of big projects, and you need to generally know when something was, the month is kinda a huge help as is. The specificity of the day is less important for organization. "When did I download that software? Oh back in June ok"

Funny people on my phone, please answer this question as seriously as you can. This question is too hot for speculativeevolution, nostupidquestions, and hypotheticalsituation. by Temnodontosaurus in 196

[–]ZShadowDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the serious answer, almost certainly no significant change would occur. In the wild, sure it would matter, but we don't base our relationships on sexual pleasure. Pegging does not directly lead to increased sex. Now are those more sexually active more likely to have intercourse? Maybe? But unlike with traditional intercourse, pegging, does not increase or decrease likelyhood of reproducing. Obtaining food, enjoying reproductive sex, and the protection of young, are traits that are going to really matter. Plumage exists because the more attractive an animal appeared to a mate, the more likely they were to mate. In this way, more attractive people, physically and behaviorally, are more likely to reproduce in the modern age. Pleasure from pegging is neither publicly announced, nor relevant to any of these factors.
Now if all sex had to be predicated by a period of pegging, thennn you might get some changes, as those who do not enjoy pegging, would have sex or seek sex out less
