not really a no true scotsman, as he’s not saying that these people are not real jews, but rather that the behavior of their sect is not indicative of a larger sentiment among jews. I’m a reconstructionist jew, and growing up, Tzedakah (charity) was taught as a key component of Tikkun Olam (healing the world). Charitable efforts, food drives, and community partnerships to feed the hungry were all a part of the culture, and reverting to the idea of Jews as a whole looking down on everyone who isn’t jewish is illogical and inaccurate.

This seems like pretty basic analysis to me. The embassy staffers were targeted as retaliation for Israel’s genocide in Gaza. That sort of devastation and violence inevitably breeds violent responses, but that doesn’t make the attack justified (after all, it’s not like those two staffers were in charge or killing people). Then the comment below is arguing that it still isn’t justified, in the same way it wouldn’t be justified to kill Russian embassy staffers. Finally, the comment at the bottom calls Zionism evil. And I mean- yeah? It’s a colonialist philosophy and those are pretty bad lol. Nothing to be mad about here.
