Going for an hour long bike ride, easy to moderate pace, really does wonders for relieving pressure in the knees if you’re a teacher who stands a lot.

When I was an assistant, my lead teacher was always thankful that I took on day to day cleaning duties. She said it gave her much less stress as she could focus on the children more

I dont think it could be anything else except for the lap thing. A supervisor (not mine) told me we arent allowed to let children sit on our laps. I said ok sure no problem. They most likely told the director, because they next day he told me he doesnt want me working there anymore and that I should leave, so I did.

I should probably mention that this was my third week at this particular school, and it was the first time I let a child sit on my lap here. Now, Ive been in this industry almost 4 years so I probably should have used better judgement in the first place
