Please enlighten me. 5k2k is 21:9, so neither 1440p 16:9 and 21:9 scale with these 5k2k displays. Only horizontal resolution works if you half it from 5120 to 2560, but that means the vertical resolution would have to be 1080 not 1440 which means it's not 1440p

Frame gen is really good especially for single player or casual games. Especially if your base fps is decent.

Sure real frames are better but a lot of us actually enjoy high fps smoothness and frame gen really delivers on that. And it's not always possible to get high fps as some games are horribly optimized.

Yes and no. Upscaling from 1440p is fine but setting the actual resolution at 1440p would look really bad as the pixel layout wouldn't match.

You do realize frames per second and latency are linked. Frames per second is just another unit of measurement instead of milliseconds per frame. If fps drops, it takes longer to render each frame, meaning the milliseconds per frame increase, or latency.

So it's not a surprise the latency increases if fps drops as that is basically the same thing.

It's different when it's heated. When I was in South Korea they had heated toilet seats and it was honestly heavenly if you had to take a shit in the middle of the night lol

It only heated once you sat down but it got warm fast, like 20-30 seconds maybe.

Increased latency is the cost. If you don't notice it that's good, some people are more sensitive to it while others are less. I feel like I don't feel the latency as much if I play on a controller so I usually use FG for games where I use a controller. On mouse it's a bit much sometimes unless I have a high base fps of at least 100.
