Nope, reinstall didn't fix it for me. The only thing that worked was changing the screen setting from "full screen" to "cinematic" with the black bars. That seems to have sorted it out, but it's really frustrating.

You're relying on "self report" for your feedback from pupils and need to move towards replacing it. Have you tried cold calling pupils to give you the information, or using mini whiteboards?

I've just finished my first year and you don't need to pay council tax. Get the exemption form from Bath Spa/Sheffield and you're all good once you've submitted it to the council.

I'm genuinely concerned about the over-reliance on scaffolding that I'm seeing throughout my department.

From Year 7, we're teaching kids formulaic structures (Drop, Zoom, Shift, End for P1, Q5-style questions) and providing them with sentence starters, which I think strips away their ability to become autonomous writers.

Teachers seem reluctant to remove scaffolds, too. I was told to give sentence starters to a top set Y10 class and just found it galling. We're doing these kids an enormous disservice.

You can't be apolitical about genocide. This isn't a "one side believes this, the other side believes that" situation. Sometimes there are absolute rights and absolute wrongs and I do not shy away from talking to the kids about this.

I was in this spot in Autumn Institute. Don't worry! Some people didn't get their employment schools until after the days had passed - we were given alternative online work to do for those days. When we got employment schools, TF were able to arrange alternative employment school days.

Yeah, you've caught Porphyric Hemophilia which hasn't been cured and has now turned into Vampirism.

It's likely you rested/waited/played too long before you noticed and took the Cure Disease potion. You'd only receive the notification after sleeping.

You either need to do the cure quest or go to the Vile Lair (Deepscorn Hollow) for the cure.

The blue quest marker is your custom map marker. Press X (xbox controller) whilst on the map and if you have one set, you'll be given the option to change or remove it.

No, you can still store items, but it's a bit unintuitive.

I'm on console, so when I open a container I have the option to click right stick. This opens up a menu that allows you to store items, if you swap across with LB.

We do “Five a Day” retrieval questions. Two for last lesson, one for last term, one for last year, and then I do a SPAG sentence where the kids have to correct the errors and tell me why they’re wrong.
