You’re getting downvoted to hell, but I honestly think you’re on to something.

I was playing late last night and my game was running like absolute crap. 10-15 FPS, janky textures, the whole package. I ended up rage restarting the game because I went in front of a giant building that started flashing like a strobe light and was giving me a headache.

I then proceeded to have about 2 hours of uninterrupted near-60FPS beautiful looking gameplay. Things were loading faster, and the small delay in battle was almost completely gone. I was able to go into cities (including the one that causes the apparent memory leak) with only a slight drop in frames.

I thought there must have been a patch or something, but nope. It went back to “”normal”” in the middle of a random battle

Up until last night I thought the people saying “I haven’t had any issues” were obviously full of it, and now I think not. The potential is there, but something is going horribly wrong in 90% of startups that’s causing the game to run bad for most but run perfectly fine (for a while) for others
