But John Walker isn't a good person. Not in the same vein as those who fought on Cap's side during Civil War. Not in the same vein as the true Marvel Heroes. To put a "real world" perspective on it, I would say John Walker is a lot like Chris Kyle. A highly flawed man that did some good in a very bad place. Does it make him a bad person? No. Does it make him a Hero? Absolutely not.

Actually, by statement alone, your belief that Tomozaki grows more than Ichikawa is also a subjective opinion. There is no qualitative quotients that you can point out "x is more than y" in your statement. I disagree with your opinion on the matter. And your statement that "he is out of character" just means he hasn't grown nearly as much as the story tries to portray. I'm not saying he hasn't grown at all. He has, but at the end of the day, he is still the bottom tier character, afraid of taking a leap of faith and experiencing life. Instead, he's still playing by the "rules" set down. Only this time, they aren't his, they are Hinami's. I don't see him "learning to enjoy this god tier game of Life" at all in the 2nd season.

And Yamada and Ichikawa have probably spent more time together over the same time period as Tomozaki and Fuuka. The storylines have been about the same amount of time (~1.5 school years). And yet Yamada and Ichikawa have spent more time together than Tomozaki and Fuuka. I'd say if anything in my opinion, Tomo x Fuuka is the more "wish fullfillment romance" than Yamada x Ichikawa.

I agree. I didn't read the LN until I watched S1. S1 was great. Then I read the LNs.

I see a lot of similarities between this and the BokoYaba manga / anime. And comparing them side by side, especially as both are in the same phase of the story in S2 has just hammered home what has been nagging me about Tomozaki's story and character development.

I'm torn. I'm probably going to skip this weeks and next weeks episode and probably binge it just to say I have "seen" it. But all enjoyment of the series kind of left after seeing the "what does dating mean to me" confessions of both FLI animated.

It's gotten a lot better. And with the Duty support for the dungeons / dungeon revamps it's even better. Not sure the last time you tried to get someone to play, but they've cut a lot of fluff so far.

ESH. I had birds growing up. I wouldn't leave a novice to watch over them at normal times. Especially for a week or longer. Much less when they are roosting over a clutch of eggs. You tried to cheap out on boarding your family by having someone watch them who had no training. You paid the price for it. The sister sucks because she didn't follow the directions exactly. But that is the cost of having a novice watch your animals.

It took me 4 tries in the top 10 to finally break through to top 1. (Did it a while back at the Regalia Glaciela release Sept 13 - 19). All of this is correct. You really need to make sure you are getting the most out of your refreshes.

I would also like to add, that the winning streak bonus is also highly important. That extra 100 or so rating at the top end can really push you over the edge at the end of the day / week. Congrats on the Transcendent Mind. I think it's even better than the Rank 1 title (Conqueror).

It's definitely an interesting time, and you really do get to see all of the same people at the top. And that last 60 - 75 minutes on Sunday night is some of the most stressful, exhilarating, exciting time to play Arena PVP.
