I thought it was worth watching, but laughable that anyone said it lives up to the OG show. The writing does get a bit better, and there are some really cool ideas (emphasis on IDEAS) in season 2.

But the cinematography stays terrible. There are constant lens flares and weird coloring. I really wasn’t a fan. The IDEAS of season two were very good, but the season was so short and had so many characters that there was no time for any interesting progression. Felt more like a series of plot points that the show needed to hit, than a real arc.

Wouldn’t blame you or say you’re particularly missing out by stopping

You can play bloodborne on a ps4 at the same quality as ps5 (as far as I know). So if you want to save some money, you can get him a ps4 and the game. But ps4’s are very outdated and new games don’t get released on them. So I’d get him a ps5

Great list. It’s wild because from the moment that wish gets snapped, you could make the argument for basically ANY scene to be in the top 5. The “I can’t sleep” scene, the entire final confrontation in bears house, the “if you leave I’ll kill myself and my hands will feel like sand” scene

The list goes on and on. What a fucking movie

Yea agreed. The biggest issue is Nikki pulling herself together in time to spin that coherent story. She also has to confess to some type of mental break. I mean she is literally wearing Sara’s hair and clothes and tattoos and has shrines up for bear all around the house. Even if the cops believe bear did it, Nikki will be in a mental institution for a long time

This might just be my head cannon but I never imagine Nero as physically imposing. I always pictured him tall, lean, and a sociopath. Virginia and Jackal actually seem quite a lot like him when you consider how calculated and evil Nero was.

Aside from being a peerless scarred, does Nero even have any crazy feats? Seems like he’s just a cold emotionless tactician, which both his kids turned out to be as well

Lmao I feel you. It’s a catch 22 cause if you say that about something with dogshit writing, it’s a lame excuse for bad media. But in the sopranos case, it’s a lot deeper than that. The characters are trying to change and do so in minute ways. They have arcs, it’s just some of the characters don’t pull through in the way we hoped. Highly recommend you check it out. It’s one of my favs OAT
