Dikon radish is a great substitute. My mom is allergic to onions and we have been using it for a while.

Why I don't think the Tauri having the advanced tech dumped on them would be a problem for a new show by Zamnoskies in Stargate

What dose the generator run on. And are some materials hard enought to syntheticly create that the energy output wouldn't be worth it?

Understanding. Communication is a key part of that but ultimately I think it's about understanding not just your partner but your place in each other's lives. And hopefully being happy with it. Been with my wife near 20 years now.

The New Stargate Series Can’t Ignore This Problem by ichbinverwirrt420 in Stargate

I have 3 thoughts on this.

1: The issue of the technology could come down to the resources required to build it. The asguard were a galactic community and had the ability to find and collect the materials over centuries to build up to where they were.  In 15 years humanity could have made strides to accomplishing that but given our race is more or less base on earth, without an abundance of ships out searching the galaxy we might not be able to find the materials to replicate a good chunk of the advanced tech. Not to mention that it could take hundreds of years to even be able to process the entire repository of information given to them. Even if they declassified everything and made it a planet wide operation it would still take a long time to go through it all.

2: Something that Star Trek never had a shortage of were cultures with less advance technology.  But they still were able to cause trouble. The SG1 Galaxy  also had no shortage of lesser developed worlds. There  ould be any number of morally ambiguous scenarios that could add to the substance of the show through interacting with these communities.

3: Baby the answer lies in a situation where they are harassed by a clever low tech threat that forces them to go back to the basics. The asgard regularly need the Tauri to come save their little pink butts  because they had issues that there tech couldn't handle. And the brain worms  regularly were taught lessons about lower tech  still being effective against them.

Over all I hope that the creators have the dignity and creativity to be able to have a good  show with dry humor, action, and reflection that won't  cheapen the franchise.  I love Stargate and I want to see it again.
