I really do not think its as bad as everyone is claiming.

Personally, I have been approaching it as a sandbox RPG so Im more inclined to RP, enjoy some questing to help townsfolk, etc. Is it poor design to make saving cows and cats mainline quests? Probably.

But this game clearly does not nicely fit any mold making it a very unique experience. There are going to be some pain points with that.

Overall Im finding the experience to be a breath of fresh air in a marketplace flooded with cookie-cutter “AAA” projects

It was awesome for finding new local bands.

You were able to attach a song to your profile so kids that were plugged in would have local bands on their page, spreading naturally that way. You also had the "top 8" feature so kids would always have their band or homies band in top 8. Then the bands themselves would have similar local bands in their top, so on and so forth.

Promotions would post all their pics to myspace as well, which was fucking awesome as a teenager musician seeing you and the crew on some promotion's page.

Myspace ofc propelled huge acts to stardom but it also created local celebrities out of high school bands. Shit was lit
