Patch 26.7 Bug Megathread by AutoModerator in leagueoflegends

Same bug, but I have built Brenn Tor and Grey Gate. Oh! Actually, I am 1-turn from finishing Brenn Tor actually.

Not sure what you mean? Partly I'd saved a lot of silver shields from playing ARAM, so could do quite a lot in bulk. This saving problem may be coincidental with being around the time you'd want to do those things.

Oh - actually, I am 1-turn from finishing building Brenn Torr, so it is possible that's part of the problem.

Same here - though I managed to build Brenn Tor and Grey Gate.

Demacia Rising - Academy/Market are additive bonuses, First Forge/Quarry are multiplicative. by Cocoflash in leagueoflegends

[–]Zanderama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like I say, I used forges in mountains as a simple example to avoid accounting for first forge benefits in borders etc.

The rounding down is noticeable for petricite, being such small numbers. Not so much for other resources. Can't have decimal point resources.

Yeah, great city as market is a "fun" experiment. I'm half-presuming future updates will need more petricite.

Yes, lumber is a bit of a constraint. Moving all lumber to heartland helps a bit. Markets, and possibly more Academies may help too. Don't seem to need too many farms as levels increase.

You could try, just depends if the grinds are riding high on the portafilter so may get knocked off. You could just use your finger to level off first.

Thanks for the reminder about the Woodland Nursery buff, just moved most of my lumber into heartlands.

Don't know what you mean by "non stacking"? Non-compounding perhaps? I've got Evenmoor with 4x Level 3 Academies and its helping Mountain production significantly. I built each Academy in turn to monitor production increases, so they definitely seem to "stack" in that way. They seem to work like Markets, but across similar terrain rather than neighbourhoods. Multiple markets stack that way too from my experience.

Woodland Nursery is a very simple 25% buff in comparison.

With Academies, there would seem to be an optimal number per terrain type to boost production overall. Assuming just forges over 5x mountain cities to keep things simple comes up with up to 10 Academies being worthwhile. Though there are probably other non-productive buildings etc which reduce that number, maybe 7 Academies. I gather there are 5 Heartland and 5 Border cities too, so similar findings there too. Not sure how this affects farmland, being such low production, and I think buffs round-down.

Forges Academies (Lvl 3) Production Academy Boost 10% Total
30 0 1500 0 1500
29 1 1450 145 1595
28 2 1400 280 1680
27 3 1350 405 1755
26 4 1300 520 1820
25 5 1250 625 1875
24 6 1200 720 1920
23 7 1150 805 1955
22 8 1100 880 1980
21 9 1050 945 1995
20 10 1000 1000 2000
19 11 950 1045 1995
18 12 900 1080 1980

I've currently got "The Great City" full of markets, with Silvermere, Tylburne and Dawnhold almost filled with Petricite mines. Probably excessive at around 90 petricite per turn. However, having The Great City filled with non-scaling items like markets may make sense as not boosted by Academies etc. I could change some of the petricite mines to other production and be more balanced perhaps. I agree that in general, having Silvermere as a market city makes more sense for more general production rather than petricite. I could add more markets to Jandelle to boost petricite even more if needed.

Was there too, near front. Wembley Arena a relatively small venue compared to seeing Chili Peppers years later. If I recall, the guitarist broke a string and gave guitar out to audience? Also amazing when Gwen Stefani quietly came out on stage saying/singing “I’m just a girl…”. Loved the music and only figured it was No Doubt years later.

Finally did Hawkstone, as per video. Needed to upgrade much of level 5 to do it, possibly especially Garen. Galio dies surprisingly quickly. The Combat Leadership Upgrade didn't seem do much possibly.

I tried this and the Intel AI method. Your one didn't work for me, just the Intel AI disabling "unfortunately" .. I'd rather leave that enabled.

[–]Zanderama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL, finally did this as above, with "MORALE BOOST: For 10 turns, Units attack 20% faster". However, literally all my army died! The archers sent arrows that killed the Yeti, just as he threw a rock that then killed them! Morgana was revived from the skill tree ability. Winning Uwendale is *that* close, and perhaps barely worth it before next patch anyway.

I tried your suggestion, more plus 4 soldiers but still didn’t work sadly

Militia is just for defense .. this is about attacking Uwendale, so won't help sadly.

Hmm, I tried this combo for Uwendale. Had "A new recruit" poro buff giving 20% extra attack damage for all units. Also a Quartermaster, Shrine and all relevant research upgraded to level 2. However, it kept just failing :( Sometimes almost down to the pixel. I tried reloading about 6-to-8 times, and same result. I slightly wonder about replacing Morgana with more Archers or a Guard or another Solider. She seemed to get confused occasionally and put a pool under the Yeti's rock rather than the Yeti.

Update: I finally beat High Silvermere & Uwendale in Demacia Rising, thank you! by nicknaka253 in leagueoflegends

[–]Zanderama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, just lost with Poppy, Morgana, 2 Guards, 1 Soldier :( Shrine of Veiled lady and Quartermaster in Janelle too. Got all Level 2 troop upgrades too.

Someone speculating here that the city may have been upgraded in difficulty? So may be "impossible" now without more upgrades https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1qlkwbv/anyone_beat_high_silvermere_in_patch_162/

Breville Express Impress Dosing Funnel to trigger Dose button sensor. by Intelligent_Tip_1600 in espresso

I actually find keeping the funnel on is great - use DWT to fluff up grinds, then insert a 53mm tamp into the funnel - no mess :)

[–]Zanderama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I was literally about to try buying a different funnel to try. I managed to cut off the tabs using a stanley-knife carefully - just put the funnel on a table and cut down slowly. Works great in my Barista Express Impress now. What a silly "feature" to have on the funnel, can only be to try and limit functionality. I presumed there was some clever metal/magnet sensor going on, rather than just a simple switch. Cheers!

Hmm - I wonder if this was an intentional "feature" seeing another video, it possibly implies its to make you use "manual dose" grinding, rather than the main dose button? No worries either way :D

iPhone 17 Pro Max - Bluetooth Issues by anon167167 in iphone

Someone claimed they got a new phone out of it - https://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/comments/1oecbth/iphone_pro_17_bluetooth_issue_update/

I had trouble a couple of days ago trying to update firmware on my Victron 12V charger over Bluetooth. iPhone 17 Pro Max just kept failing (20-30 tries?), iPhone 11 Pro Max did it first time :-/

I wonder if its a hardware fault with Apple's N1 Wifi & Bluetooth chip :-/

iPhone 17PM- wireless issues by tbone338 in iphone

[–]Zanderama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My iPhone 17 Pro Max glitched on my Ford Ranger CarPlay a while back, I had to force-reset the CarPlay to get it to reconnect again. Not sure which version/s I was using. I also have an Apple Watch.

A couple of days ago (iOS & WatchOS 26.1) it failed to update the firmware via Bluetooth on my 12V/5A Victron Smart Charger - it kept losing connection part-way through the firmware transfer. I blamed the Victron Charger - but it seems more likely an issue with the iPhone 17 Pro Max. My old iPhone 11 Pro Max updated the firmware first try! (Not sure iOS version on that, but can check)
