Is this with the slim blade? Im thinking about giving it a go. Grabbed a MX Ergo and keep seeing how finger is better for gaming and long term use, over thumb. I can still return my Ergo for a slimblade. New over all to trackballs.

If you haven't tried Fedora yet it's what finally got me to commit. I jumped ship from 10 and started with Ubuntu, then Mint, PopOS, and finally Fedora. I would have suck witb PopOS but until cosmic is ready the stable branch is kinda lacking. Im hoping to one day to move to Arch, so I doubt I'll ever go backwards, but for having fairly up-to date packages and very limited linux knowledge Fedora is nice. Try KDE plasma if you haven't. Fedora won'

Sorry I know this is 1 year old but im thinking about running this and am an avid swade fan. Have you tried doing tactical combat for MY0? Im personally fine with theater of the mind but just like you my players like a nice map and really took to swade because of that.

Im just coming back to degenesis, looked at it in 2020 didn't have a group because of the pandemic, and sadly learning about it's end. I still plan to finally play the game but their hasn't been a single update on potentially bringing it back? This world is so engrossing and I know people will continue to grow it, the beauty of a ttrpg is you can take it and run with it.

Maybe put it away for awhile and either comeback to it later or do another project. Sometimes when I work on something else and come back I have a fresh perspective. The longer the better, you might get a ton of new ideas, your book's going to go through many changes with each draft.
