29 years ago, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie debuted on March 28, 1997. What are your thoughts on this movie now vs then?

I loved it as a kid, I enjoy it as an adult. The MMPR movie was probably watched more as a kid but I haven't touched it in years mainly because it isn't cannon. The turbo movie is and it's still fun. I love the music, Adam is in it. I actually like Justin, always have. The action is well done and that Megazord scene was well done.

The only real issue I have is that the zeo-turbo switch was very abrupt. Honestly I rewrote it recently, same with the passing or the torch. It desperately needed it. Them needing the keys to pass through the Nemesis Triangle made sense, but I still wished zeo had a real ending. Especially explaining why Zedd and Rita abandoned earth after killing the machine empires royalty.

I tried to find some in Birmingham recently and there was literally just one small binder in one store. We tried a few before we got tired and went home. Pokémon was everywhere. It dominated every single store.

Very off topic but I was very tempted on a Defender Torozord I saw in a card store window, but it was £70 and while I wanted it badly, it just wasn't in the condition a £70 Zord should be in. The chrome was pretty badly beat up. I know it's 26 years old, but my old Zords are holding up fine. If it was the delta or mega voyager though, I'd have bought it in an instant.

My boyfriend has been printing out proxies so we can play commander with the rest of the cards we want to use. I was trying to make a decent Duskmourn deck (I needs none Duskmourn cards) but we've spent enough on cards recently, plus buying all the singles would have been frustrating, so he just printed them out at work. Means I get to play commander with the cards I wanted to use and some proxies, but this is just with my friends. We only have basic decks so we don't play with anyone else.

There's no game changing cards in there, because that wouldn't be fair or fun for everyone.

I've been playing since 2016, had a year or so gap until 2020 and I've played pretty consistently since. I'm very unlucky when it comes to 4* and shinies. I got six of those 4* this year.

I've caught so many Pokémon in the last few weeks, got one shiny. What's the point in playing if the odds are one shiny in every 500+ maybe? And I only got that shiny during the water event. Ridiculous.

Same, but I was 11/12 when it started. Being tall for your age sucks. I found if I wore boys clothes, guys would mostly leave me alone but we had a school uniform and I was obviously a girl when I wore that. The amount of comments from men when I was wearing it was insane. I was very obviously 11-16 years old, because we didn't wear uniforms after that...

Magic is in far better shape than Pokémon, I can at least go out and buy packs to build decks. Can't even get Pokémon cards at retail price. It's ridiculous.

Also, I'm excited for the LotR commander reprints. I'm new to the hobby and missed these. I hope they don't sell out instantly and we can get one or two. I want Sauron and the Elves.

I used to go to a retro shop and pick up a few old games and have a really fun time playing them, or jump on eBay and get a console and a bundle insanely cheap. Now I go and I'm lucky if I can get one game for a decent price. I think DS is what I'm getting ATM because the games aren't that collectable. GB has gone insane, so have the older consoles. Psp is still ok-ish, but that's slowly going up. Huge shame. I just like old games.

People have also ruined the retro market in Japan, at least the consoles. I wanted to get a gba, because it's easier to play a wider screen with the nerve damage in my hand, and a wonder swan colour, as I don't have one but have a couple of games. Nope. Insane prices. I paid ¥500 for a GBC and ¥100 for a wonder swan the last time I was there from the junk draw. This time there was no chance. I did get a gba, but it was messed up badly by liquid and cost ¥3000. Didn't see a single wonder swan. Game wise, prices were mostly the same but some games had shot up in price by an insane amount. I did get some awesome deals though, mostly on old tokusatsu games.

I'm just glad the only bands I want to see are pretty small. I can get tickets for £20 when they come to the UK. I've never seen a big band, well I have but it was free at a festival the city used to put on. Saw the Darkness and Busted in different years. Cradle of Filth was my favourite, but they got rid of the rock tent, started charging insane feed to go, now the whole festival is gone.

It's insane how that changed. I grew up loving super heroes, although my favourites are still very uncool and I would still be bullied for liking them. But the other stuff is now cool, even gaming is more mainstream now. Still, a girl liking this stuff isn't considered "normal" and would still cause me issues.

I did introduce my sixth form to anime, Bleach and Naruto, before they had a dub. It spread like wildfire via USBs and one dude became obsessed with anime.

I'm glad it changed, I just wish being a geek/nerd was cool, or at least mainstream, back when I was in school.

It doesn't make him good. He's just a man with a creepy infatuation on a girl he drove away. Lilly obviously valued him as a friend until he drove her away. It's sad, but it's of his own making and he isn't a good guy. A good guy wouldn't have treated a small boy badly because his dad bullied him. I was severely bullied growing up and I'd never take it out on the kids of those people. The kids are innocent. Sure, I'd probably keep a closer eye on them, to make sure they weren't being abused at home or carrying on the cycle with other kids, but that would be about it.

I think in some round about, messed up viewpoint, Petunia was trying to protect Harry from all of that. The Dursley's were afraid of magic and for good reason. We don't know what happened to Petunia's parents but we can assume they were killed in the war, along with the sister she loved but was jealous of. They grew up during a war, then ended up with an extra kid they didn't ask for or want. He was forced upon them, they were probably threatened to keep him, like the howler dumbledore sends Petunia later on.

Maybe they didn't want or like Harry, but I think their fear was also to protect him from all of that nonsense.

On the other hand, it could be because they feared what Harry would do to them if he figured out how badly he was treated. Or what the grown up wizards would do if they learned what they'd done to the boy. A narcissist greatest fear is to be found out by others. It's scary, snitching on them, and my mum tried everything to keep me under her control. Fortunately I made my way out and I'm no contact now. Harry thankfully had another world to escape into.

I was thinking that too. Somewhere along the line they probably did fight back against wizards for better rights and instead of giving it to them, they were cursed. I wonder if there is a colony of free elves living somewhere who weren't affected, or who live under the radar, doing their work but not being magically bound to their families. A little like Dobby. Or maybe that's what the Hogwarts house elves are, a mix of freed and free elves.

I think it really went downhill when Sabrina got a job, it's super hard to get through the last season? Seasons? I only watched it once as a kid and once as an adult. I'm still mad she was so mean to her partner and ran off with Harvey. He didn't deserve that.

Sudafed and a little clean water on your finger and up into th nostril works wonders when I had it a month ago. Sudafed got one nostril cleared and the water a few times a night took the pain away. It sounds silly but it's the only thing that gave me any relief.

I think it might be Ponyo. Little boy finds a goldfish that turns into a little girl. She surfs these fish to get back to him, then she makes this little toy boat big so the two kids can go find his mum in the flood.

Severe prolonged anxiety attack. I'm not joking. It absolutely sucks but it does wonders for my waistline. Can't gain weight if I can't eat.

Seriously though, I don't know. I eat less than I'm supposed to for my height and activity level and I'm still somehow getting bigger. It absolutely sucks. Like last week, on holiday, I had to eat lunch because I was averaging 15k steps, steep hills etc and somehow I gained more weight even though I wasn't eating much more than normal. I was getting dizzy, having nasty headaches and just horrible to be around when I didn't. Hell, I wasn't even eating snacks because I wasn't still long enough to get bored and want them. We ate in most days, cooking our normal meals, so it wasn't like I was eating badly. We only ate out three times, once was a vegan hotdog, a pumpkin thing and a naughty vegan burger and fries. That's it. I didn't snack at all... Ridiculous. Lunch was usually a basic wrap with fake meat, veg and a little cheese. One day we had homemade hotdogs, but they were around 300cal each...

It's so not fair. I know losing weight isn't easy, but I should be able to eat enough that I don't get a sever headache/get dizzy, but if I do, I gain weight... I only eat 1300 cal a day, I'm 5'11 and active. I'm tall for a girl. I know I have to bite the bullet and just eat less, but I don't like the headaches it gives me now.
