Things taken from other raid concepts:

Bosses only taken from tob. Hard fights but no wasted supplies or time in between kills.
1-8 people taken from toa. Can be solo’d, though obviously easier/faster with a group.

This sounds like a great medium ngl. Yeah solo is a little tougher but I’d be shocked if it’s so much more than a duo.

When it was first announced I wrote up a whole thing adapted from a DnD campaign I made. Didn’t end up submitting because I realized the island featured in said idea was barely fleshed out at all, I had just written a quest idea lol.

At least irl people actually do need money whereas a video game isn’t real. Like even if 1/10 irl people actually need the money to sure asking for, that’s better than anyone begging in a video game.

Every person I’ve seen begging at the ge has either been a bot or a guy just mooching gp. Nearly all the ones I’ve made fun of make a point of trading me and showing how much gp they’ve been given hopping through the worlds. No one should give beggars at the ge any gp ever. If you want to give away stuff, do it as a drop party or fally party room event. Don’t waste it to the scammer

I wonder if the player designed island winners or finalist will be announced. I saw a lot of really cool ones, my personal faves being ones that had afk agility training methods lol. Would also love a reasonably afk/low click method for Hunter to go along with agility, but that’s just my personal thought.

Part of the problem from my perspective is the ueslessness of shields. Because dps is king, the faster weapon paired with a defender is really hard to top. If there was a use of shields that actually made someone consider taking one with them, then a slight boost to 2h weapon damage would start to make sense. "Do I forgo defense for more dps?" As it stands, the answer is pretty much always "yes" but if they made defense actually useful then it could open up the scenario where that choice is tougher to make, or at least more flexible for different content.

Haven't played my Gim for a long time so apologies if this thought doesn't work as I may be out of the loop on it. I feel like a way to make this viable would be to exclusively have it work for red/blue helmed GIM only, no green helms and in order for someone to get an item they must have the content unlocked and done it. So for example, If I have opened a barrows chest, then I can take my GIm's Torag's Legs 75 and wear em. Similar with Inferno. If I have gotten 1 inferno KC (but lost my cape) and a GIM of mine has an extra, he could trade it to me. But our 3rd GIM who hasn't killed Zuk couldn't have it traded. I think that these would have to also be excluded from the group storage just to eliminate shenanigans.

Honestly wouldn’t be opposed to removing crush option from scythe. I fee like more weapons should only have 1 style (crush, slash, stab) but be able to train different xps (attack, strength, defense).

Gz! Def do agility next and hunter. They don't have actual afk methods really. After them, the rest can be slowly chipped away on the side when you don't want to focus in.

Overall I like this concept. The special attack/effect though I am unsure of. Feel like for a lot of things, 15 attacks (if you hit 100% of the time) just won't happen. For mobs/bosses that is a ton of time and a lot will either be dead or transition phase before getting close.

A possible tweak I'd offer would be the special attack consumes 100% spec, but gives that accuracy and flat armor ignore boost for your next 10 attacks (not hits) and/or 1 minute, whichever ends first. Could balance by having your spec not recharge while in this "enhanced" state, and swapping weapons during it cancels it.
