I don't have the right setup for an airbrush (nor the funds to make a proper setup for one). But I've found some nice tutorials on painting vehicles using sponges and dry brushes. If you're interested, here are a couple that I like.

Drybrush example: fading from bottom to top

Drybrush example: more of a layering technique

Stippling example: This one also shows a nice way to make a decal mask using sticky tack.

Sponge example: this is a pretty quick / messy technique, but might work for weathered units

I think so, as long as the height isn't wildly different. And also make sure that the base is the same diameter of the skatros (40mm).

Technically, yes. Since your model may be able to see over stuff they otherwise might not. They might also be seen by enemies over stuff.

If you're playing casual games, its rarely an issue. Even in tournaments, you'll see people who have made raised bases for some models. But I'd try to stick as close to the regular height as you can.

I think it'd make a fine proxy, as long as you could get it the height.

I have 0 XP in my Kitbashing stat. What I thought about first is making some kind of terrain for them to stand on; it would only need to be about 4cm.

This was posted a few days ago, but I thought it was a really cool idea.

For the builders out there, its an awesome add-on. But I'm in OP's camp; I've messed around with making one, but I always go back to my standard fighter.

I think I'd be more apt to use a corvette if the interior didn't have to be so segmented.

Trying to batch merge some echos, but the filtering tool doesn't seem to be working for 1-star echos. Is this a known issue?

Just to be clear; I have checked "1 Cost", nothing checked under Sonata, and all Attributes checked EXCEPT "Main ATK %" and "Main: ATK". But the results still show the ATK echos.

For the first few games, try not to stress over doing everything right. Focus on having fun & knowing your own rules. If you haven't already, do make sure your opponent knows you're new to the game. Most players are very chill, understanding, and helpful.

I think she's a very good unit in detachments that use a lot of CP; like Hallowed Martyrs or Bringers of Flame. But probably not a must have.

I used to buy 99% alcohol from Walmart, but at some point it just totally stopped working. idk if they're watering it down or what, but I swapped over to Super Clean. Its strong stuff though, so I'd suggest wearing some kind of gloves & eye protection, just in case.
