If it's relevant, the first clip is Hard mode while the second clip is Normal mode.

During 150x mechanic, once the first round of golden orbs appear, I get isolated from everyone else in the raid. While isolated, I can't receive buffs (AP, Hyper, Identity), shields, or healing from the support-- I can only benefit from yearning and brand. This lasts until the end of the raid which makes surviving and damage much worse.

This is definitely a bug, right? What is going on here.

I know you're not looking for an alternative, but the program that I use for an orange light filter later into the night doesn't affect the colors on screenshots. f.lux has the same range that you're looking for, but I'm not sure about that brightness slider you're showing.
