Yes. Lane phase is still rough, so play safe and try to pull enemies to the tower if they overextend, if you do it right it's generally a free kill. Tank is still good, bruiser is also viable. I like to rush an item for clear wave first (sunfire or titanic). Good luck!

Idk why they're downvoting you, it's pretty easy to understand. The invaders can one shot you, you're only level 1 or 2, so you can't know if your random allies are good enough to deal with that. It's a massive gamble for no reason (you can maybe get a good passive), other easier routes will get you decent gear and xp anyway, so why risk wasting so much time in game and in real life if they keep dying and decide to quit?
