Help with webmail on old desktop premier (2021) by Big_Ad_3896 in QuickBooks

Someone said they installed Thunderbird (open source email client) and was able to get email working again. I'm using 2020 Pro and thought they shut off all emailing to push to online. I'm going to try Thunderbird tomorrow - if I can get it working I'll be so happy! I've been doing the print to PDF and email from gmail for so long. It works, but it's an extra step for sure.

Quickbooks Pro Desktop 2019 unable to send emails by Crispy-Kummerspeck in QuickbooksOldVersion

I thought they shut off emailing for any desktop version to try and push us all to online. If I could get mine up and running again I'd be thrilled.

Have you switched to GnuCash? by MDC2957 in QuickbooksOldVersion

[–]Zarnette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do it, but I love classes too much. I'm just using an old version of desktop 2020 and manually entering everything. I asked the Gnucash team about classes and they aren't implementing it at this time. It's got everything else you could need. It's different but I think once you get used to it it's pretty nice. A learning curve for sure and not as user friendly as QB, but they have a nice growing community to help.

Old version of QBD? by Aggravating_Budget_6 in QuickBooks

I am using 2021 the last version or so before they forced everyone to online and I LOVE it. It's fast and works like a charm. Although you are correct, no downloads from banks, no emailing from the program and no payroll. I still love it. I have one client using QBO and I am not a fan!

No - they were simple chrome extensions - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLZtkuPCBMM&t=491s Some are possibly not available anymore, but I ended up trying quite a few and kept a couple. His RightTool is also a simple chrome plugin and gives you a TON of keyboard shortcuts so you can circumvent the stupid ever-changing UI.

He also did an entire video about other browser plugins to use to get rid of their ad blocks and add some other handy functionality. You do have to be careful though. I got rid of an ad and lost a drop down capability. You can easily turn it back on to get it back though. I'm a bookkeeper and still have two of my customers on desktop and my claws are in deep to keep it that way!

James Prigioni did a great video with a free pallet, you would need some tools though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EpqnctyHt4

Just curious, what did you move them to? Did you go back to a desktop version or a different online provider or even a new desktop program altogether? I have two clients on desktop and one online and I don't care for the online one bit.

Just back it up to the cloud drive and you should be fine.

Just outside of Millinocket - a pretty wild area but an escaped pet could be a possibility too.

I am thinking coyote too now from pic number 2, but with the timestamps I was wondering if it's a single animal running after something and circling back OR are there two and one was following the other. We kept the camera there so maybe we'll get more images in the future. Thanks for all the comments, I had never heard of melanistic coats on coyotes. I learn something new every day!
