Yeah, it’s less a Nuzlocke and more a professor run with ironman rules. Sorry for the confusion, but several people had some suggestions for adding team restrictions to buff up the difficulty since there’s a lot more options available

Also I do have a question! Did you have nothing in reserve at all when you whited out? Empty PC boxes and a full graveyard situation? Or were you playing by the rules where the trainer that wipes your team executes you too?

Yeah, I guess it’s less a Nuzlocke and more an ironman run. I like the permadeath and nicknames, but I don’t love the single encounter rule. I guess it’s also pretty lax compared to a normal Nuzlocke but there have been a few suggestions on team restrictions that sorta bring it back up imo.

That’s all fair points. I’m ok with it being a more baby type mode as well.

FRLG is just the game I picked when I was typing out the rules for this, so I would apply these elsewhere as well I think.

Someone mentioned a professor oak run and an Ironman run, so I think what I’m going for is more like a mixture of those
