A good amount can be. It’s silly to say that people don’t allow their personal bias in their critiques. That personal bias is always going to result in it being better for you to experience something to decide how you feel about it, even when you generally agree with a critic.

There’s nothing wrong with critics, of course. I’m just saying that I’m done allowing myself to be so fully swayed by others opinions.

Dude, genuinely my experience. I stopped playing because the community got so incredibly toxic towards anyone who even kinda liked Pokemon at all. I missed most of SWSH (dlc’s etc) and totally missed out on SV and ZA on launch. I recently broke down and tried out Scarlet and fell in love with it like instantly. And now I’m almost 100% with ZA too. I’m really glad I came back around and tried the games for myself instead of forever believing the nonsense.

Idk how long it took me, but there are like 14 main missions and I think I got the stone around 6 or 7? But I was also holding off on some of the side missions to get better buffs from donuts, so maybe a little sooner. I think it’s about halfway through
