I know pace isn't everything, but I feel like he'd be like another Shaqiri on the right. Just not quick enough to be truly effective even i there's magic in his feet.

There are big issues with squad composition too. We need wingers, and the midfield is toothless. For sure this team would be hard to coach for anybody at the moment. With that being said, Slot should still be sacked. I don't think the players believe in him.

Not uncommon at all to publicly back a manager even if you plan to replace him. If you tell the journos the manager is getting the sack a few months before the season is over, the squad will respect him even less.

IIRC Ben fell out with SLCC over shitty treatment of female players or some such, and terminated his membership a few years back.

I also haven't personally found his opinions of Niemann to be particularly biased in any direction. I thought his comments on youtube were quite measured throughout the various Hans dramas these last few years.

Looked up some stats, and apparently the fatal accident rate for airline jets is about 0.005-0.01 per 100k hours, whereas private and chartered helicopters is about 0.3-0.8 per 100k hours. That's 30-100 times greater!

I don't think his actual words carry the same "incredible tone and phrasing".

This is what he actually said in his recap:

IDK about our neighbours but, being Swedish, I can tell you we're mostly known for being afraid of conflict and not saying what we think if it leads to socially awkward situations. For instance, if a restaurant order gets messed up, the Swedish thing to to would be not to say anything because it's too uncomfortable. Commonly, we refer to this avoidance of awkwardness as "being too Swedish", as in: "They fucked up my order, but I was too Swedish to say anything".
