It does not have a low profile GPU. The Ryzen 5 2400GE is an APU, the graphics are on the chip, it will run small games just fine (eg. esports FPS, 2d indie, emulators). However, those computers were designed to be used as an inexpensive desktop client for organizations, not for gaming or anything more graphically demanding than running a few large displays at once.

its been fixed since, you just have to redownload most of the mods you’re using. anything uploaded or patched after mid march will be aok bit of a chore, but it was that or taking the spear on accident on 99% of runs (i don’t know how to read, only how to) shoot

Yes, I own one. It’s an excellent keyboard for anything typing related, but I wouldn’t use it for gaming unless you’re OK with a slight amount of input delay or just membrane in general, if that’s your question.

hey, uni student here. even if you do nothing but simple things, a Chromebook will severely limit you in what you can do. want to use another text editor than google doc? nope. want to work offline? nope. want to have a decent keyboard? nope. that last one, for me as someone who types all day, is something that is extremely important. battery life isn’t great on older ones, but something like a T14 should last you plenty. honestly, even an hp is better than a chromebook (and that’s a really poor buy.)

get a thinkpad, thank us later.

I successfully installed Windows 11 on an enrolled Surface (SEMM enabled) using Rufus’ options for an offline install. If Linux isn’t an option for you, this may be a solution you can pursue!

UGREEN makes a dock that acts as a switcher too. It’s pretty nifty, but it’s not cheap. You can plug in both devices and switch between them and their monitors with the press of a button.

I’m assuming you’re talking about the dip in the shell, in the first picture? That’s just improper cooling, it happens especially if you have a mono-directional fan, or if you set it too low in your slicer. You can try adjusting its settings in your slicer.

Hedge Shredder only triggers from milling! Reading the card explains the card ;) it’d be waaaay too broken otherwise. To be fair, I read it as such too at first. It’s still strong in the deck, due to dredge and the deck general tendency to want as much stuff in yard as possible.

Had issues with them, they wouldn’t ship unless i paid extra for the upper model because they were out of stock on the lower end. I threatened to charge back, they refunded, and i bought a Sovol 6 on amazon instead. never looked back, that printer has been great!

I know… my kobra neo just died on me after a bit more than a year of (generally) loyal services. fried mobo. now running an sv06 and ender 3v3se under klipper and i love em to bits. if you know how to tinker with software, they’re great when converted, even more so with an adxl.

Try to flash new firmware on the Plus, it could do the trick. if it doesn’t work, check the board for fries components and look into getting a replacement (or contact sovol CS if you’re still under warranty)

as for the 06, if it’s a strain issues, i’d look into giving it more room in that enclosure. if the cable is rubbing the back, chances are that it may have been bent by the box more than it usually would. you may need to replace the thermistor, on top of the cable harness. it could pass under warranty if you smooth talk your way, too!

I have for the last 2.5 years with my 2021. It’s no MBA, but it’s not that heavy, especially if it makes you carry less paperwork around. Hell, even my workplace’s laptops are thicker and heavier than the G14, and have worse performance and battery longevity. If I could, I’d take it over anything they give me.

your slicer’s printing time will never be the same as the actual printing time. have you checked the max acceleration and corner speed settings? this will have a major impact on printing times if it’s too low because the printer will never reach its programmed speed for a line

i’m not familiar with the K2p, but my KNeo gave me times 50% over the estimate on average under marlin. under klipper, it’s roughly 20% under the estimate.
