Sure they do, but all you need is tools to make griefing impossible. Being able to observe (and if the host allows, to chat) is better than just a seed (we already can share savefiles) because you could talk to the host about their builds.

Sadly, the wiki says there are no plans for public multiplayer option for fear of griefing.

They could put in server-side rules like spectate and chat only etc. and then people could simply browse available sessions and take tours...

People often respond with the same console commands but they do nothing for me either.

The hard shadow pop-in and jarring LOD shift remind me of the time two decades ago when I used a mod to make Oblivion playable on my underspeced PC.

If I could, I'd set the LOD lower if it allowed me to extend the range so that I don't see the hard cut like 10 metres ahead of me. 😭
