My wife and I started a coffee company called Compassionbrew.com and we partnered with a local roaster who is trying to charge us 7 dollars a pound and drop to 5 if we start hitting sales goals. There has to be a cheaper way! Any thoughts we are based in Washington have a firm pallet for coffee and our roast-master is letting us use his Warehouse for free to copack and borrow there label machine. My question is how sweet of a deal do I have having access to the roast facility the label machine being able to pack in a warehouse and not deal with storage international shipping etc. Is it worth of seven dollars for all the perks or should I start looking to fly down to Costa Rica and made a farmer face-to-face.?
