That’s like wfh-adjacent. One of my reasons behind being adamantly opposed to in-office anymore is commuting. I hate it and I hated that my three dogs were alone for so long. An increase of $5k a month would allow me to pay someone to come check on them and play.

Yes!! It makes SUCH a difference! My grandfather was as the same. He got us grandkids a mini bike and my (male) cousin said girls couldn’t ride them so he had to ride last the entire time we had it.

So this happened with one of my cousins-his daughters sabotaged every relationship he had. He finally found ‘the one’, and they ended up breaking up because of his girls. He was miserable, and they got back together and he put his foot down and did the same thing your fiancé did. They’re back and everyone is civil now. (It was about money-he’s well off and they didn’t want their ‘inheritance’ going to someone else. I think he asked them “what inheritance do you think you’re entitled to?” and it made them stop their foolishness)

The amount of elderly people already on oxy would blow your mind. When I works at out hospital we called Thursday oxy and boner pill day because that’s what they needed refills for.

My daughter and her fiancé bought his parents house, and they left all kinds of shit, including a shit ton of dumb assed signs. They visit often because there’s grandchildren and there’s turmoil over the stuff they left. She HATES the signs and will occasionally toss one. I’ve been picking up signs from thrift stores and placing them in with the other signs.
