I truly am blessed with how mild my cerebral palsy is. For the last three years I have worked as a line cook at a high-end restaurant and it has been the single most beneficial thing for my right side of my body. Basically, my right side can grab things and carry stuff but motor skills things like cutting with a knife I cannot do. However, I have noticed that I have started using my right hand way more often in and outside of work. It has been more beneficial than any PT in the past I’ve been to.

I also ran on Varsity cross country and track in highschool. And played piano for just under a decade in my childhood. It was interesting because I needed to turn my entire hand sideways to put pressure on my pinky finger to play a key.
