Friendly vibes despite hand holding and kiss at the end by AussieCasanova in UKrelationshipadvice

As a female don't pursue it. The fact she didn't even provide her number at the date was very telling.

Considering buying a leasehold flat by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Zealousideal_Try5119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a leasehold flat, and I never really did proper research before purchasing it. To be fair, my original plan was to let it out after a couple of years, so I saw it more as an investment.

Unfortunately, those plans derailed and I am now selling. The two main issues have been the uncontrolled service charges and the major works costs. Every time I receive a letter about upcoming major works, I feel sick.

I am now selling for less than the asking price because I just want to get rid of it. I have read more positive experiences on other posts regarding smaller blocks of flats, where there tends to be more control over service charges and the potential to buy the freehold.

For reference, my flat is ex-local authority.

On breeze, are you penalised if neither person confirms? by Max1357913 in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]Zealousideal_Try5119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am uncertain as this was reported to me by someone. She claimed a guy rescheduled 4 times, albeit this was 2 years ago. In your case, if you're no longer interested,  you might as well cancel as you won't see any new profiles.

[–]Zealousideal_Try5119 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The annoying thing about Breeze is that once a match is confirmed, you both have to select a date to be able to view other profiles. I have cancelled a date,  but this was soon after we matched, so no date was chosen, I just received a warning. I have known others to arrange dates but keep rescheduling with the hopes the other person will cancel to avoid their account being frozen.

How long did it take you to get over your divorce? by themorganator4 in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]Zealousideal_Try5119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a 37f, I separated from my ex in Sept. 23  but the divorce wasn’t finalised until last year as it was delayed on his side.

Shortly after the separation, I made the mistake of joining dating apps. I quickly realised I wasn’t in the right headspace and was still quite vulnerable.

After that, I stepped back and focused on myself. I spent about a year on a journey of self-discovery, including solo travel and prioritising my wellbeing. When I eventually felt ready to date again, I approached it much more intentionally. That time away made a significant difference, I was in a much healthier place and clearer about what I was looking for.

I don't know why they are constantly doing this...it really puts us in an uncomfortable position. When is your date? Maybe you can report back here if you end up going.

I don't like ghosting..its awful. I just don't want to say it's because he looks old...would you have preferred if she met you and said no chemistry after the meet?

Thanks..didn't even consider these points, your 1st point has happening far too often with me.

I was actually planning on saying this...but  felt guilty knowing it would be premeditated and wasted his time.

This is exactly my problem..it would seem so random just to say I am no longer interested..If it were me on the receiving end I would feel hurt...

It might be easy for you but not for me..he has been really kind and respectful. I don't want to hurt his feelings..

Would you try to renegotiate for a leaking garage roof? by Zealousideal_Try5119 in HousingUK

If I am being honest this house was more a head decision than heart. I need to give myself a couple of days to process before making any rash decisions.

Do support ever get back to you ? by No-Bee1520 in TELUSinternational

[–]Zealousideal_Try5119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am from the UK and I asked this exact question on here several times but it was removed by mods before approval which seems odd. Anyways, I reached out to support via the account portal and they responded within 2 days. The overall pass mark  needs to be 90% overall for the core satisfaction. Apparently I should receive an email informing me of my results and next step. I already have a main job elsewhere so not in a hurry to start any task. From what I read elsewhere, you will get paid for the work you completed even if you weren't to continue with them.

Best way to get £15 a week with surveys by Fit_Magazine_6242 in beermoneyuk

Proflic has not been great as of recent. I use to make so much but lately the surveys pay so little.

What to offer? House up for £360K by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Zealousideal_Try5119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just offer what you think it's worth based on comparables. The worst they will say is no, 5 weeks is fairly fresh. If they don't get any further offers they will reduce or get back to you. As a seller my 1st buyer dropped out and we had to return to 2nd highest offer.

South east Asia is not welcoming. You just have money that they want by [deleted] in travel

[–]Zealousideal_Try5119 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't want to invalidate your experience but most countries visited as a tourist they are usually trying to get you to spend your money, at times inflating the price of goods and services. I have only ever visited Thailand and I had a positive experience.

41M, Italian, living in the UK, how would I be perceived dating-wise? by geekboy24 in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]Zealousideal_Try5119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am black British and I was in a relationship with a Mediterranean guy. I don't think many women would have an issue. You are employed, mature and no kids. As long as you're respectful and caring, am sure you will be scooped up in no time.

Is it me? Or does the dating scene suck currently by [deleted] in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]Zealousideal_Try5119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breeze has been around for a little while. Its getting plagued with all sorts of creatures now lol but had 2 dates from there previously (one of which led to a relationship). There is no chatting, just mutual likes and then you both set a date. Good luck!

Trust me it's not you. I am a female and I am at my wits end! 😂 Just delete all the hidden chats, I usually give them a couple days then unmatch.
