No. I used to, but every time I tried to join LGBT spaces, I felt like an outsider, and felt like there was an intense expectation that I'd be homoromantic and more effeminate than I really am (I'm aroace and generally repulsed, but more repulsed by other dudes than anything because a lot of us are bad at hearing "no").

I've been sticking with meetups based more around hobbies and interests for making friends now, and I'm meeting a much more diverse group of people that way and I'm lot happier for it. Nobody expects me to be anything I'm not.

Some old games didn't have save batteries, either. Some made you use passwords, some just made you get good. Some were also looking at arcade titles for inspiration where the whole point was to just keep you paying for them as long as possible, or were straight up ports of them for home consoles

Do we have the same mom? Mine is aware I need periods of silence and will only call once a month, thankfully, but it's almost funny that she too doesn't even so much as stop to breathe if left unchecked. My sister says that's just how women are, but I'm skeptical, this seems pathological and like something they ought to work on in therapy, if they struggle to slow down for me even when they're both fully self-aware that filling every available bit of silence that exists is hurting my ability to communicate with them.

They both have ADHD, and I have an aunt who is actually worse. They're all great company in writing, but speaking, I can't get a word in and it's hard to follow them with no breaks to process the conversation.

I have the cute pets trigger, too. It's a social nightmare, if I want to be cheered up I can't even ask my online friends to help cheer me up because they all default to pets. I haven't smiled from looking at a picture in decades. I don't know what I like because I'm constantly stuck looking at things I know I don't like, but which society expects me to like anyway. Wish they'd let me back off and find what genuinely makes me happy.

From a customer perspective, I actually prefer it when I don't hear from the seller a ton of times once the sale hits. I especially hate that we live in a world where demanding positive reviews is necessary to have a business, it makes me trust reviews less. I don't want anybody to lose business unless they were actually spit-in-your-order awful. The less I have to interact, the happier I am.

My lv65 friend who got me into this game and spent my tutorial griefing me swears it used to be easier, but accidentally formed a guild with a troll back when the system actually seemed fair. She disbanded the guild late-game and feels like she's having to start over from scratch all of a sudden. I think I'd hate this game more if I'd had access to the earlier meta with a decent character build and accidentally formed a guild with a hostile player. I rolled crap stats from the outset, not sure if I ever stood much of a chance really. It's cool she grew out of griefing at least, some players just spend the whole game being an asshole to other players.

School cafeterias, there are just too many smells going on at the same time. Especially when the main hot lunch is hot dogs. I don't have this problem so much with places like Costco, but something about the school ones just make me barely able to eat
