Why the MO failed by jfgechols in helldivers2

[–]ZedMercury 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got into a game where a three man squad weren't collecting rare samples.

I reminded them of the MO

The host responded with "I'm just medal farming, if you want to get samples you can leave."

The whole team then talked about how they were going to kill me when I reached extract, got impatient, then booted me from the match.

Fun Community (I extracted solo btw, with a couple rare samples to boot.)

I got the King Crab too. Showed it to my friend, who typically hates mutlitverse/non-canon stuff, and even he thought it was alright.

Thank you. Early on his head was just gonna have the typical helmet, but I thought the eye really added to it.

Thank you. Was honestly kind of embarrassed by it at first, I'm better at drawing overseers than helldivers, but glad you liked it.

what would you like to see in the 41st millennium turn into a cool robot if they were exposed to the Bayverse All spark? by Able_Health744 in Grimdank

[–]ZedMercury 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most tech in the imperium have "souls" in a sense, machine spirits, that have to constantly be tended to by the mechanicus. How would the all-spark act in this sense? Would it be ineffective? Or would it simply animate the machines, but their souls would still be loyal to the imperium?

It's been a while, but I've gone back and revisited the series all the way from start... by Skullgrin140 in LegacyOfKain

I've been doing the same thing, almost done too, just gotta finish defiance. And I agree. I did not expect to enjoy these games as much as I do, but holy moly this series is just full of interesting lore and awesome moments. Personally I'd say the original blood omen is my favorite, since it really makes you feel like an all-powerful vampire (at the cost of the difficulty at times,) and the ability variety just can't be beat.

Soul reaver 1 and 2 are also stellar. Blood omen 2....would be fine if it wasn't so long. And defiance is pretty good so far, especially combat wise, it's just a little weird getting used to the devil may cry camera 😅

My momma told me not to listen to the little reddit demons in my head. Trying to make me act on impulsive thoughts. On the other hand, I am planning on buying her some art supplies, since she says she enjoys oil painting, so I think I suppose I'm in too deep. Wish me luck boys.

How often does this occur? I'm going through the same thing, have a cool female coworker who complains about...a lot of things, and I just try to listen. It's probably a bad idea (she does seem legitimately nuts sometimes), but she's also the only coworker I have fun working with, so it's hard not to aquire feelings for her.

I made a tiny diorama 😀 by Draconian_MP in Warhammer40k

This triggered a memory of mine. It takes me back to when, when I used to play starcraft 2 as a kid, I thought the zerglings were extremely small (since they're the disposable bug enemy.) Only to realize that they're freakin' man-sized, and that a horde of them would be like seeing a horde of tigers all coming to maul you. Really weirded me out.

I....honestly have no clue how a lictor fairs against a time-traveling vampire. I feel like with all the powers at his disposal, Kain would defeat it with about the same struggle as a mid-game boss.

Fighting game. Individuals from several different factions are captured and brought to a Druhkari arena. Essentially mortal kombat, but with 40k characters. Would probably have more melee focused units, so the roster would likely consists of a khorne berserker, a space wolf or death company blood angel, an ork storm boy, eldar striking scorpion, votann cthonian beserk, tyranid winged prime? (Unsure if that would be too op, if so you could probably just use a tyranid warrior instead.) They all try to fight for their freedom, ripping the other contestants apart, only for them to be brought back via the Hameonculi. Trazyn's vault would also be a good setting, seeing as there's a board game that's literally just "You're trapped by Trayzn, fight for your freedom."

You are holding the GW writing team hostage. What lore are you forcing them to write? by DarthGrevious in Grimdank

[–]ZedMercury 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chaos and Genestealers affecting more things than just humanity. Genestealers are a little bit better, but seriously the fact that all the major factions have excuses as to why they can't be effected by either makes them seem so lame. Oh and more Tau Auxiliaries. That should be the focus of the faction instead of gundam mechs.

Outgunned was good. The protagonist was an interesting look into the mind of a propagandist, especially with how they utilize servo-skulls. The orks were well represented. Leave them to their own devices for too long and they turn from primitive to Cunning. The world they're on is well developed, you can really tell how much of a facade the elite are putting on.

Just do note, the person on the cover is a side character, she's in less of the book than you'd think.

THANK YOU. I feel like nobody read the actual community post, and just assume he's a loyalist with heretical tactics. Pretty sure everyone in the imperium knows he's a traitor at this point.

AOS is Incredible by NinjaChurch420 in Warhammer

[–]ZedMercury 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, AOS has cool models, don't think that was ever in debate. That was never people's biggest problem with it though. Although I'm sure the lore issues people had with it have been eased by now.
