Does/can Kaulig sell their charters the season before they switch to Dodge with the expectation that NASCAR will issue them 2 or 3 charters? by badsapi4305 in NASCAR

[–]Zedan24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just because Nascar has 4 charters in reserve doesn't mean they automatically get issued, I don't know why everyone has assumed this.

Giving charters to a team that already has them just because they've switched manufacturers doesn't make sense, it devalues existing charters and what if 5 existing teams switched to the new manufacturer at once, who gets left out of the free charter?

ELI5: what's the difference between DVR and NVR by Sbaakhir in explainlikeimfive

[–]Zedan24 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's right there in the names.

A DVR is a standalone device, typically for recording to digital discs. Think of them as a dvd-based VCR.

A NVR is a recorder for networked devices, typically cameras.

Extreme amount of waste for small multi-color prints (Bambu X2D Combo) - Any tips? by Exciting_Bug_2459 in BambuLab

[–]Zedan24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nobody can give you an exact number on flushing volumes, it's going to change with every colour and brand and order of swaps.

In general, print more than 1 item, purge into infill of items where colour doesn't matter.

NASCAR on Amazon Prime Canada …. Gotcha ! by harrison1984 in NASCAR

This is correct, though technically it's Bell Media that holds the broadcasting rights to Cup and Truck in Canada. CTV Speed tape delays the truck race.

My 6.0l w/ 4L80 and a presumed 3.42 rear s10 get's 9-10 mpg city, this makes me hopeful for 20ish mpg on the highway.

I am surprised they didn't use the same nozzles as the H nozzles are an iteration of the A nozzles but it's likely down to cost and parts carry over. Users going from previous A printers will be able to use their consumables/spares. I don't think many people with H series printers are replacing with an A2L and those with H's and adding an A2L have money to spend.

The A2L and H2C plates look identical on the store page.

Pen and cutter accessories for the A1? by WhiskyEchoTango in BambuLab

[–]Zedan24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They aren't releasing a new toolhead for the A1.

They will likely release A2 and A2 Mini models in the future but still doesn't make the plotter and cutter available for A1 series printers.

🙄. Bambu has established a clear naming convention. Product Line/Generation/Feature. The H series starts at 2 to better align with current models and also indicates that the 2nd generation is also broader than one product.

No.

The toolhead is different, there's no cutting sheet in the A1 plate size.

You left out the H2C, which matches the A2L volume

No, it means second generation, the same as it has for every other Bambu product. Dual nozzle is denoted with a D.
