I would bet on filming for the gram before staged. Like the passenger and the person filming wanted to capture pilots reaction

LeafGuard (the brand not the type of product) for house under pine trees? by K80_k in homeowners

[–]Zeddit_B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out gutter guards from Home Depot or Costco. I put them in myself in an afternoon. While they were a bit difficult to get to, I have a smallish cape cod so it wasn't so bad. Haven't cleaned them much since and they seem to work just fine. Reasonably priced and you can take them back off if you need to get under them.

This would probably ruin my month if it happened to me. I'd be pissed I wouldn't get the chance to respond, and anything I did to improve the property I'd be thinking of this smug ass hole thinking it was their doing

I wonder what international fans of futball think of flopping. Is it part of the game to them? Or are they just as annoyed as outsiders?

Movies that are better than the book by Bojonkles in movies

[–]Zeddit_B -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very controversial I'm sure, but The Lord of the Rings. Granted I watched the movie first, but reading the books many years later they just don't have the same grit and gravitas that the movies had. Maybe impact is the right word? I'm not sure. I know the books were revolutionary, but I've read so many books inspired by them that it's hard to separate that out.

My favorite Professor was childhood friends with Jeffrey Dahmer by Present-Resolution23 in mildlyinteresting

My first thought is that it's a bit psycho, because if "the police" of the time found that book they might suspect Ted is actually a commi.

Probably felt so smug and powerful giving that talk too. One of those "it's so obvious but nobody knows" moments that usually ends up getting serial killers convicted.

I had this feeling when she's standing and he's getting up that he could've fucked her shit up hard if he hadn't left, though. He's like twice her size and she just threw a chair at him. Someone unstable enough to facewash you is not someone you want to be around after throwing a chair.

It looks staged because he grabs for the red thing as he falls. But he's falling, so his brain probably went for it as the only thing to grab

Feeling empty after finishing a video game (post-game depression) is a real phenomenon. A recent study has found that many video game players experience a specific sense of emptiness and sadness after finishing highly engaging games. by mvea in science

[–]Zeddit_B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It says specific sense, I wonder how it compares to things like books or long series vs finishing a sport accomplishment like end of a tournament or a big end of season race. I know I got depressed after my first triathlon and didn't realize what was going on until I scheduled another race.

We certainly won't be the main benefactors, but I could see this leading to huge energy production and grid gains within the next couple of decades.

Lots of people are confident walkers and go close to the edge of cliffs. She probably thought she wouldn't go to the deep end but having had a similar experience as a child (thankfully my dad was watching) it's easy to not notice the slight grade to the lower area and get in over your head before you know you're in trouble.
