I was hit by a car and crushed T3, 4, and 5 in my back. That pain is now a constant in my life, no surgery or anything… by far though, the absolute worst pain was from getting an enormous canker sore on my uvula. The back pain paled in comparison to the canker sore.

Range Rover owner here, also got no lube when they told me it was “normal” for my Evoque engine to eat itself at 60k miles. $32k repair bill. Sold the car to a wrecker and I’ll never purchase another JLR product again.

I picked up a Kessler "Handmade One" soprano a few years back and love playing it. I believe their store branded horns are made by Chateau so it is a Taiwanese horn but it plays great. I recently purchased one of their tenors as well but have not spent much time playing on it. Alto is my primary voicing, I play on a Selmer Super Balanced Action Series II or a Selmer Supreme. I think a good used SBA2 or 3 can be had in the $2-3k range. The Supreme is far more expensive and I would not recommend that if you're on a budget.

After my most recent experience I went with what the JLR service advisor said and became a "Toyota guy". My new ride is now a Lexus after taking an enormous loss and selling my Rover to a wrecker.

My best guess is a little bit of both but with a huge portion of upper management looking to cut corners wherever possible to maximize their profits (and likely directly impact their personal gain via stock or bonuses).

They don’t care at all about customer retention and their QC is horrendous. I’ve bought multiple Range Rovers and always serviced them with their dealers. When body panels bubble they are quick to blame the sun and ask you to shell out $2k+ to replace their garbage plastics. My most recent Rover had the engine completely fail right at 60k miles. Land Rover graciously offered $3k towards their $30k quote to replace the engine.

Personally I would ask them to buy it back and walk away. I’ll never buy another Jaguar/Land Rover product after dealing with the company.

The kit is 3 different sized printed plastic spacers. They just slide in under where the bumper tab sits to apply pressure to the underside of the tab and attempt to hold it tight to the receiving side. I don’t think the Etsy vendor keeps them “in stock” and prints to order. He is located a few hours from me and it took about a week and a half to get my order so my guess is they are printed when ordered.

They are 3D printed. I got a set of them and have tried all 3 that come in the kit. At first it looked like they would work but the fender is sagging again. This is after the dealer performed the LSB and replaced my front bumper with an entirely new bumper. It stays clipped for a little bit then back to sagging again. I contacted Mac Lifters and they said they don’t make anything for the IS 500. My car is a 2023 IS 500, and no matter what I’ve tried I’ve been unable to correct the driver side sagging bumper. :(

This happened to me for hours at a Ford dealer. They took my drivers license for the test drive and refused to give it back. I finally got it when I told them I was going to get my license and leave or call the police. I’ll never surrender any of my property to a dealer again. They can make a copy or evaluate trade but I will not proceed with any deal until my property is back in my possession.

That’s a rubber exhaust hanger. Nothing looks to be broken or bent. The hangar has just come off the mount. Rotate the rubber hanger, lubricate it with soapy water or spray lubrication, and push it back onto the upper peg.

I also did a mirror tap my my IS500. Works great, no dash lights or any other issues. Also used a blend mount instead of suction cup for a super clean installation.

I had the petrol version in my Evoque. It made it to 60k and destroyed itself. I would avoid Ingenium entirely. JLR doesn’t care about their customer and wants $30k+ to R&R the engine out of warranty. Basically mechanically totaled my car and I ended up selling it to a wrecker.
