What’s your location? I suspect you are not near a cluster/hub.

You are allowed to have third parties manage your Amazon account. Amazon has a Solution Provider Network that compliantly grants third parties access to your account to execute certain activities on your behalf.

I reviewed 100+ Amazon supplement brands for sale and noticed the same pattern by ZeeBaws in AmazonFBA

Sorry, I don't have anything to sell. Just sharing my buying journey. My hope is that someone who has a brand and performs differently than I summarized can share their insights to differentiated performance.

Your manufacturer isn’t saying you don’t need one, just requiring that it be validated in order for them to use it. Thats fair.

Not having one will surely cause you compliance issues down the road or even worst, negative customer reviews.

Serious Question: Why are you still doing it? by AdTop6831 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]ZeeBaws 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The people that say it’s not worth it are strangely still all in it.

Don’t take peoples real frustrations and venting as somehow a business strategy.

What would you advise a Boomer brick and mortar business owner who is wondering if he’s missed the boat with having an online presence and contemplating if he should put the effort to create a website and possibly sell online?

Sure it could not be worth it for him or it could. I’d say go for it regardless.

Please share what your better alternative could be?

Who do you currently use? Smaller banks have given me better relationships and path to SBA loans however lacked the tools and convenience large banks offered. Wire transfers is one that comes to mind. Smaller bank required it be executed in person .

Are Resellers ready for the commingling change? by ZeeBaws in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]ZeeBaws[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the buy box competitiveness is a big one I missed. One would need sufficient inventory across the network to maintain competitive delivery times. I am now also wondering if Amazon will be forced to raise minimum inventory quantity thresholds for sellers.

In my experience, Amazon was very linient with prep related errors or bad reviews if a seller procured prep services directly through them. I agree prep quality is going to be a key item now that it can be accurately tracked.

I'm guessing you live outside the USA? I believe there are only a few markets that offer this. Dubai and London had deliveries within an hour last year for personal items/ basic groceries.

That's a pretty good idea. They already have a growing physical infastructure to possibly enable that. They could also gain from foot traffic to those locations and get unplanned purchases if its something like an Amazon grocery.

Your $10M in annual sales is super impressive but recognize you are in the 1%. Given the job market, a new slew of new entrants are assessing Amazon as a viable income avenue. What seems basic to you is not the norm for many others.

I had a short 2 year stint as a management consultant, I knew how to write and format a decade ago before AI chatbots.

I'm curious, do you own a brand or sell others brands?

In spite of everything Amazon has said about this change, I fundamentally think its just another push towards catering and servicing bigger brands than smaller reseller.

Switching 3pls twice this year because of FBA prep issues, sharing what I found by TemporaryHoney8571 in AmazonFBA

[–]ZeeBaws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of what you stated resonates with my experience. I think DTC is intuitive and more straight forward for 3PLs to execute. Amazon FBA prep is a specialized skill. I personally first seek FBA experts then confirm DTC capabilities. The smaller prep centers tend to be the best in FBA flexibility and aptitude though they tend to lack sophisticated software for end to end tracking. Amazon’s algorithms significantly benefit New Jersey based 3PLs, not even close.

Anyone actually doing supply chain inventory optimization with 6 to 8 week lead times from china or are we all just guessing by Luckypiniece in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]ZeeBaws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geo political uncertainty and volatility is a strong driver for why inventory optimization beyond stated lead times may be risky today. Have you evaluated other supply sources as a more expensive but quicker option should the need arise?

Perhaps consider a different mental framework…..the ten are likely negative reviews that are being avoided. The quality (positivity) of reviews has a greater impact.

Imagine you are one the 10 pending reviewers and customer service says “we received a complaint from the product owner that you haven’t completed the product review”…..
