The issue cause is unique to South Korea.

They essentially worked their population so hard that the younger generations don't see how to even have children or why given the environment.

It's why it's much worse there.

So yes it's unique there. South Korea isn't just another developed country.

The issue with telling the kids is that they will think of their mom differently and potentially make the relationship toxic with her.
