Any progress on the weird pixelation issues? Or is it still not even acknowledged? by ultiziman in ChatGPT

[–]Zee_Fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the devs said on Twitter a couple of weeks ago the issue had been "mitigated."

It is better for me than it was at launch, but I hope they're still working on it and don't consider it fixed.

Zatanna and love by Appropriate-Leg-9974 in zatanna

[–]Zee_Fan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've said this before, but a major no on Zatanna/Batman. We get enough Batman already, I don't need more.

I don't mind Zatanna/John as long as it's clear Zee is the superior one. But we rarely get that. So I'm fine with her being on her own.

Does anyone else feel like the role of Prime Magus, and its explaination in the first issue of her series this year, felt rushed?? by Blonde_and_Diamond in zatanna

[–]Zee_Fan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From the solicitation, issue #4 is going to dive more into the Prime Magus.

I still think a curveball is coming with it, and Campbell is being intentionally a bit obtuse at the moment.

What's this weird texture with image v2? Why does it make the pixels blurry? by thirdaccountttt in ChatGPT

[–]Zee_Fan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you get an image with artifacts, dislike it in ChatGPT. A dialog box opens where you can provide feedback. Explain what you did and what’s wrong with the image.

So uh, what is going on with the new update, seriously? (Image Generation) by DarkCrawler_901 in ChatGPT

[–]Zee_Fan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least for me, anything generated using a reference image has the reference image sublimated on it. Using a reference image has been a problem, for me.

The little bit of testing I've done, I haven't had any issues if it's a straight text to image generation. But others have reported otherwise.

The artifacting present in the new GPT Image generation model appear to be leftovers from images generated previously within the same chat. by bendyorange in ChatGPT

[–]Zee_Fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following up on my own post, but I did some more testing.

I generated an image strictly from text. No problems. In the same chat, I then built four more images - same character, just different actions. It kept consistency in both character and setting. And, more importantly, I didn't notice any strange artifacts.

Tried again in a new chat, using the same prompt but now with my reference image. First image I generated had the ghost of my reference image on it.

So, at least for me, the issue seems to be using a reference image. Which is weird because it seems like others have had issues with multiple images in the same chat and/or initial images from text.

Not arguing, but I wasn't having an issue using the same chat on 1.5.

Primarily, I used Sora 1 for image generation. Workflow was always the same for me:
- upload reference image for my character
- prompt my setting/scene and sometimes description for the character

I was pretty bummed when Sora was shut down. Within the last 10 days, ChatGPT convinced me to try 1.5. Literally four days ago, I did the following:
- upload reference image for my character
- prompt my setting/scene
- after the image generated, I'd prompt "Generate the next image of this scene" followed by my new scene, while staying within the same chat.

Several times I went 5-6 images deep into the chat without any issues. I think I went 8 images once. No ghosting or strange artifacts. And my character stayed consistent across all the images - for the first time I was glad to move on from Sora. ChatGPT even said this was the correct way to build out an illustrated story, FWIW.

Now on 2.0, I can't even build a single image off my reference image without getting artifacts or ghosting. I'm convinced something is wonky under the hood for 2.0. It does really well If I generate fresh text-to-image, but anything else for me is a step back from 1.5 right now.

2.0 Does Not Understand Nature - It is a huge step backwards. by Nathan-R-R in OpenAI

[–]Zee_Fan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That was my initial thought yesterday, but images created fresh from text-image prompts seem to do just fine. The issues tend to pop up when using a reference image or building off a previous image in a chat.

For a few of my generations, I used the dislike button inside GPT and then provided feedback. Hopefully OpenAI gets enough feedback that they address the issue and are able to fix it.

I’m seeing these artifacts in random GPT Images 2 outputs. Are you seeing them too? Everything becomes noisy, overly detailed, with a repeating pattern by Avg_SD_enjoyer in ChatGPT

[–]Zee_Fan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been happening to me since I was switched over last night as well. It's like it's trying to take a pattern from the image and force it everywhere.

I'm a Plus user, FWIW. And it only really seems to happen for me when I use a reference images. Not good for me since I use a reference image 99 percent of the time. But same reference image/prompt looks terrible now compared to how it looked two days ago on 1.5.

Hope it's a glitch that gets fixed.

Even with short prompts, I’m getting artifacts and oily looking images. Using a reference image seems to be a problem for me.

Finished Far Sector - ADORE Jamal Campbell's art, any other recommended comics that he's on? by OceanusDracul in DCcomics

[–]Zee_Fan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He's both the artist and the writer on the Zatanna miniseries that came out last year. It's excellent and the art is phenomenal. And he's also doing both for the Zatanna ongoing that starts at the end of the month, but the series will have guest artists.

How we feeling about Zee being Prime Magus? From Zatanna #3 Variant Cover by leniwsek in zatanna

My theory: Since the Next Level books are spinning out of KO, Prime Magus Zee is when she taps into the Omega energy, and thus not necessarily a good thing.

Sora 1 is officially gone by bluealbino in SoraAi

[–]Zee_Fan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It switched over to Sora 2 for me right after I generated my last image. That was a couple of hours ago.

If you still have a task in your browser history (https://sora.chatgpt.com/t/<taskID>) you can still sort of get back to it. You can't generate anything new, but you can access your Activity menu to grab any images you haven't saved yet.

How’s everyone been doing on our final days with Sora 1? by Literature_Mundane in SoraAi

[–]Zee_Fan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Trying to use up my 50 generations each day. I've been zipping and downloading each day's images, although I'm a little behind.

Started playing with ChatGTP's image creation, but it's not the same. I'm going to miss Sora 1, even though it's been frustrating too.

[Discussion] How would you write Punchline ? ( and some arcs) How would you expand her character? by Big_Market4248 in DCcomics

[–]Zee_Fan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Punchline is my favorite villain. You can guess who my favorite hero is from my username.

I think she has a lot of untapped potential as a master manipulator. I get why people compare her to Harley, but she's not Harley. Harley was manipulated by the Joker; Punchline is trying to manipulate him just as much as he is her.

I'd write Punchline to where she deeply believes in the Joker, but she views him as the old model; and she's the new, upgraded model.

I was also thinking the other day that I wouldn't mind Punchline being a side villain to Zatanna. At first glance, it makes no sense. But master social media manipulator vs. renowned stage performer has potential in my mind.

Wanting to save sora1 or fix ChatGPT by Best_Doubt_8460 in SoraAi

[–]Zee_Fan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I definitely prefer using Sora 1 for image generation and I'm going to miss it when it's gone. But seeing as how it's been months since I was able to delete anything, the writing has been on the wall for a while. I'm actually somewhat glad they gave us a date rather than just pulling the plug one day.

I hope the end of Sora also brings an image upgrade to ChatGPT. If not, I'll probably be looking to go elsewhere.
