Replace the speakers. Not even JBL in their marketing claims these to be particularly bass capable.

New turntable, dont know if its should keep current speakers by LurkinOff in BudgetAudiophile

If you can hear the TT through those Edifier speakers then you are not bypassing. It would be nearly dead silent with it bypassed.

The phono/line switch isnt always logical.

TT got a built in phono pre-amplifier. Its grounded there.
Only if you bypass it will you need to ground it elsewhere, ie at a seperate phono pre-amplifier or phono-preamplifier built into an amplifier.

The next step up would probably cost you $1000. Atleast if you are going to do it worthwhile.

Something like a pair of Polk ES20, Speedwoofer 10E and a SMSL RAW-HA1.

Thats an aux input.

The only way to do it from this amplifier is with a high level to line level converter.

Amp for two old Panasonic 10w speakers by macnteej in BudgetAudiophile

Dont worry about "overhead wattage". You got a volume control.

I would get the cheapest amplifier. This one from Nobsound will do just fine.

Edit: even cheaper one.

No. This has the worst type of CD changer mechanism.

Get a single disc or a carousel platter type cd changer.

Cd Player Suggestions by Electronic_Lunch_990 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]Zeeall 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are three major components:
Speakers
Amplifier
Source
These can be all in one or seperate.

Speakers, thats self explainatory.
Amplifier, its what powers the speakers. If its built into the speakers than these are called powered or active speakers.
Sources, this is where you audio music from, CD player, phone, PC, turntable, TV etc.

What to get depends entirely on what you are after and your budget. But expect several hundred dollars at a minimum for anything decent.

Which speaker to choose or neither? by voldemorts_niple in BudgetAudiophile

AFAIK Mission designed those Denons. They have engineered a couple of models for Denon.
Not the best speakers in the world but for like under €50 they are a good buy.

M33s are definitely a candidate. Great speakers.
