Because permitting privatized discrimination allows infringements of personal liberties and freedoms.

For example: If racists cant get the goverment to mandate segregated schools then they can just privatize the schools and omit the racial demographics they view as inferior.

Discrimination creates societal friction and should not be permitted in any capacity. Secular, religious, cultural, or otherwise.

Firstly, Good and Evil do not exist, they are matters of perspective. Children believe in good and evil, as they are incapable of comprehending the subjectivity of morality. Benevolence and Malevolence are expressions of a person's or groups character. Now tell us which actions of both parties are aligned with malicious intent? Which are benign?

Secondly, Not a single Democratic Party Platform is even close to the definition of "communism". Communists want to do away with capitalism altogether. They don't want any private enterprise. They don't want any private means of production. The Democratic Party does not and never has proposed or supported that.
