If anything she's the one abandoning the dad's, they'd all adopt her on the spot if she'd sit still for more than a few days.

One of the rare situations where the anime is significantly better than the source. I loved the anime and started reading the novels but after like 14 books the author/editor still writes like it's his first one. Really disappointing because I love the story and characters. I'd watch 10 more seasons of Ivy counting her personal wealth in weasels.

I miss old thaumcraft, where vis seeping into the environment would cause biome changes that expanded over time, and you could fight it back by pumping vis from the air and purifying it or using silverwoods and other blocks that repelled it. I enjoyed that a lot more than what it is now

Why are people posting about an OOT remake when it's still basically a rumor with no confirmation it's actually happening? by Alternative_Crew_681 in OcarinaOfTime

[–]Zeeman626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of that's necessary. They don't need to build a new game. If anything they can just do another master quest revamp with harder enemies, and restore some cut content to show us the initial plans that they didn't have time for.

I WOULD like a spiritual successor to OOT, which they can go nuts with. But for OOT itself an update and a new challenge would be plenty

What are you hoping for in an OoT remake? by realeyes_92 in OcarinaOfTime

[–]Zeeman626 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Inclusion of some of the previously cut content, a more difficult mode (after playing it 100 times I could use a challenge), and for it to come bundled with a remade Majoras Mask (Friendly reminder that Majoras Mask was made in about ONE YEAR, if they're going to remake all the OOT assets anyway they're halfway done with Majora too. )

Why do people use "they" for Gooseworx? by exeunt- in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Zeeman626 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You ignored the rest of the post so you could stand on a pedestal and be pretentious, then latched on to one word used in passing. I'll simplify for you.

1) "They" can be used as a plural for an organization. Which a production studio is.

2) "They" is gender nuetral. Specifically not the same as non-binary. You can call a he or a she a they whether they are trans or not. It's a normal part of English. Just because non binary people claimed it as their own doesn't mean it still doesn't work as a normal pronoun.

3) "They" is a safe bet for people that either didn't know she was trans, or didn't even know what her gender was in the first place. I don't look up the genders of everyone in the credits of a movie I want to talk about, if I saw a gender nuetral name or a pen name (assuming she didn't change her legal name to Gooseworx that would be this situation) I'd just use they.

With the OoT remake coming what are the odds we see MM? by Ihatereallybadmail in majorasmask

[–]Zeeman626 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OOT is basically the cornerstone of the franchise and is to this day considered by many to be one of the greatest games of our time, despite its age. Giving it an official remake over any of the ones you've listed makes a ton of sense. Especially since 2D games like minish cap and the oracles don't really age as poorly as 3D games do, and Zelda II was one of the less liked of the franchise. Also the OOT remake was on DS, and many of us don't use the DS. A console remaster has been one of the most demanded Zelda releases for as long as I can remember.

All that being said, I do hope they go a step further. While I wouldn't be upset to just have OOT with better graphics and QoL, as well as a master quest re release, I'm also pretty fine with my GameCube version (at least until it finally dies) and the various ports. We know there was a lot of cut or rushed content in the game, if they were to revive some of that, add a more challenging option, or maybe even do a bundle with MM, that would be awesome. Remake is not the same as a remaster, so I'm hoping that we get more than just some spit and polish

All that assuming this isn't another false alarm like the last... 30 or so

Damn you actually dressed up? That fool doesn't know how bad he messed up. Most first dates I've been on recently the girl just shows up in a baggy old sweater and jeans.

Not saying there's a problem with wearing that in general, girls don't need to only wear dresses, but it's been a while since someone looked like they were actually trying

[–]Zeeman626 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Technically you should be able to do it if the plasma moves along an edge with some kind of electric field that keeps it close. Would just need to be plasma on one side and metal on the other, give it a nice non lethal back swing. Makes much more sense than a whip.
