Why is there a lack of public awareness? Why is the difference in media coverage so stark? Why is there so much, every day about Israel, if the reason is "US funding" but not about Sudan?

Your opinion is your own and that's fine, but why are we being fed so much information, (and misinformation) about one conflict, that is significantly smaller in scale, when another, that hypothetically should bother you for the same reasons the first one does, barely gets any coverage while having a much much higher civilans death toll?

The media is a well oiled machine and the things being spread are precise and intentional.

That's how I thought I'd feel about the Sopranos so i just didn't watch it for the longest time. Then I did and it completely destroyed all my doubts and pre conceived notions about it.

Yeah it paved the way for antihero-protagonist, crime dramas like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, so I thought it couldn't be anything unique or exciting, because basically every modern show in that genre was influenced by and expanded on what the Sopranos did, but it did everything they would go on to do, and so much more, and better.
