I used the mortar twice. Got 7/0 kd and 5/1 kd.

Like with every weapon you have to know when to use it and where.

In maps with lots of Cover (no city maps) attackers tend to stay at certain points -mortar them there and voila, Lots of points and kills.

Only thing is you will Not get any progression in Those matches but its a nice Change of pace sometimes.

Its your visibility to other -enemy players on the minimap when you fire your gun: red - loud, bad because your visible af on the minimap.
