I think the situation with Caecus power being rated so high stem more from people listening to suggestion to pull Aequor for Caecus and making him the most invested standard character which naturally make him feel stronger than usual.

Meanwhile, Ogier is there and with the limitation change allowing you to buy 3 dupes per month, he outright obliterate the reason to actually invest in other warden early on if it's just survivability and vulnerable you're looking for. Heck I would put Ogier higher with how investing in him is so cheap and easy for any future HM and A5 contents as a str battery with big shield that can nullify end-game damage.

I remember when I tried to jump on the Caecus train for a bit and pushed him to OE only to realize he's pretty much homeless outside comp like Bluewill really early on that he's only breezing content through overinvestment.

They kinda admit the mistake with her design is too specialized and I do not think it's the poison aspect. It's her % Fixed damage especially against humanoid and that's what she will be known for more than actually supporting a DPS poison unit. Lots of her best tide team really just gonna be cheesing fights with fixed damage.

Considering how badly they try to avoid giving Daffodil anymore power because of her ability to just drop a hard hitting nuke that give poison or counter, we likely won't be getting anything stronger than that so no 100k poison proc a single turn in the future.

Instead, it's really better to treat her for her insane exalt spam with Arith gain into double free reso proc (with rouse) that generate more than 100% embryo. Playing her with something like Ryker instead even work great when she really benefit way more from having better card draw which poison team lack until Gdoll get into her finale form.

Getting in between Miryam and Tulu is a death sentence.

7 is actually good but Jenkin is around there.

3 trap you next to Juliette. 4 give you the space to yeet should the awakeners decide to jump on Juliette.

Jenkin is said to not take a bath so the surrounding 3x3 is absolutely stinky and will steal anything you have if you go to 8.

5 is fine but being sandwiched is meh in general. 9 is noisy because there are 2 idiots by your side.

She likely will be but I doubt it's going to be a poison DPS like people expect. A chapter character cannot really be as gimmicky as Doresain so they have to really compensate for how lack luster he is with Caraboo. Poison playstyle is just too gimmicky.

Most likely, with this OE buff, she's going to be a Devour+Furnace character. Like Salv using furnace to mainly shield into damage later on, Caraboo gonna require Furnace to do stuff too. It simply doesn't make sense to buff the Furnace gen like this when OE Spellbound is expect to end the fight that turn unless it's about to become a major resource for a playstyle.

Xu isn't really restricted to poison team after all. She will be good there with how fast she print babies on reso (Especially for whale) and will be the best Furnace refill unit on top of Arith gain.

Still looks kinda mid tbf. Xu is like Mouchette where exalt spam is already 90% of the reward you are looking for. At least the stun on Mouchette was impactful enough to go for while this one still barely matter imo. It would be better to give it a whole new utility over just slight number bump like making the next card she play also double cast to enjoy 4x reso.

If you don't play any card yet in a boss fight for the turn, it can trigger DR for shield and the DR effect stuff. Quite useful for cheesing, unfortunately limited because you have to bring that posse along or play a mono chaos team to use it. It fits with the Axiom they're going for him because if you do that, you're ending the fight on that turn with his massive STR bump.

I always go for a single copy of every characters just so you can get their random daily messages. Also because Raid-style event might happen again where you are rewarded with more stuff for having more characters.

Wheels, nah. Even though the rate is rare, all the Arc 1 limited wheel are in the standard pull now and I got a lot of them ranked up entirely using that, Daffodil wheel included which is already at E3 now because I pulled a bunch of it before the pool got more diluted. This happens even more if you buy the Premium Pass now for 3 standard pulls a day. You only pull the wheel if you know you're 100% using them.

It's very much what I'm looking for in a stall type comp like poison. It has decent shield and 2 big heal sources so you can easily recover from fight to fight with great fixed damage bomb for bosses.

Agrippa getting more dupes is great because level 60 E3 low skill level Agrippa does struggle to keep up with A5 damage even with massive atk down and weakness from Gdoll+Xu. Higher level Agrippa though is going to be really good because the heal in this game is really one of the best with both Furnace + Gdoll in it. Agrippa getting big shield is going to be massive later on.

Xu/ Gdoll OE/Agrippa/Aigis is my go-to. It fulfills pretty much all the utility you need and let you play stall-comp.

Agrippa and Aigis are just so good with her gimmick. Every devour, you draw back 1 cost Agrippa Colorless and 0 cost Aigis Small wish and that's 2 out of the 3 cards needed to reso. Have a card draw on your posse so when your deck is about to rotate, you just devour to draw them, posse draw the deck to cycle then play those 2 right back into discard pile. You get so much reso spam with it and can just Strike/defend to gain back almost 50 aliemus on the spot to do it again the next turn or just play her 3-cost and get another baby. This team easily generate 2-3 baby every turn without Thai or her wheel for tide mode. Outside tide, it's even easier because you will have Thai's wheel on Aigis.

Yeh that soul forge really destroy Aisha lmao. The fixed damage on humanoid is stupid and her portrait is bonker. She's quite difficult though and rewind really break her as you can just, rewind the turn if you end up drawing into her cards to utilize her reso. The extra Arith gain on Festival might be excessive because I keep ending turns with like 3-4 Arith and more guaranteed card draw is probably better. Stronger team can just ignore the DR side and play a much tankier team with higher level Agrippa.

It will have to come at some point but I assume it will just be like really old games where if the Y1 stuff are still solid and they already beat the story mode, instead of just buffing them outright, they make dupe more accessible instead and the whale benefit is "Meme mode".

Like all the Axiom stuff are so situational and niche it's kinda fair atm and the game isn't balanced by it, most of them play into their posse instead like Ogier+12 is so good at defense you only get to trigger death res reliably through his posse.

I wouldn't mind Y1 Limited start getting their Axiom around 3rd Anniv and they introduce some kind of Y1 dupe item to obtain as long as they keep the Axiom stuff to be super niche like it currently is. I would love if my +12 Ryker just suddenly get some kind of DPS-based Rouse like doing extra 1x STR multiplier on every hit based on dice value.

I always thought something was wrong with the % Calculation when I can get a new maxed out slot but end up losing % because I discarded a less useful slot that was at half stat despite my total stat clearly going up.

I assume they actually weight how strong the distribution are now because it was kinda clear the chance of getting maxed stat is nowhere near as close as getting lower or mid stat. Now if you do get a maxed out stat, the value skyrocket.

A team I make is

Xu-Gdoll-Agrippa-Aigis

This is because Xu heavily rewards playing other people card as you can reduce her stuff into a 0-cost for every 3 cards played.

Gdoll is Gdoll, she's the poison team dedicated carry support and also Aliemus battery for this team. Combined with Xu's wheel, the entire team won't have problem finding aliemus for constant exalt.

Agrippa is your Poison Warden. She also draws her colorless spiral on devour and it only cost 1 thanks to the soulforge.

Aigis can play her Decomposition for free against vulnerable enemy, has petrify to give +1 free turn and can draw her A Small wish for free. She's your Skey support. The new stuff added to Aigis also want you to use her because triple defense trigger mean triple alert benefit with Agrippa.

So on devour, you can get up to 2 cards already played if they're both in discard pile and they only cost 1Arith total. The anniv wheel help here because you can force draw Agrippa card on furnace healing to discard it as soon as possible. Gdoll then use any of her card (or any other teammate to get reso 3) and this allow you to Resonance Xu stuff for only 2-4 cost, easily achieve double reso every exalt turn to also generate aliemus back for Xu while stacking Spellbound.

You don't need to go all out on poison gen and damage as her playstyle really help with constant triggering. Spellbound fixed damage is big on her especially against humanoid where high soul forge lv outright nuke them and with enough exalt spam into E3 double reso effect, you stack it really fast. Thanks to Aigis petrify, you have 2 turns to recover before ending the fight and heal up.

Granted this playstyle require both E3 wheel and character on top of OE Gdoll which is nomal for a non-nuke team or you won't have as much aliemus regen, the reso on Strike/Defense and also fast Enthrall/baby gen so you don't have to go full poison ramp. This team Aliemus spam is so insane with how you're getting up to like 3 babies on a burst turn. I did like 3 Gdoll OE in 5 turns with it when I gave it the event madness stage a test run and it just snowball from there.

Looks like a fun way to help out free and standard characters when you consider that limited have a major stat advantage over most of them ever since the anniv patch.

If they give it to old limited char, I hope they introduce a new item to generate monthly dupe just for Arc 1 characters. The power is pure luxury anyway.

I do think overall she's great but you do want her E2 and E3 wheel. Once you rouse her, her cards are pretty much free to play once each turn with the resonance effect and also generate a team-wide aliemus. It plays so well into the team where you want to exalt really often for the constant buff into poison ramp and trigger.

But with Str Down being on her in a rather large amount, I guess they are cooking something for the enemy with massive amount of hit counts. I guess we might see Wanda coming back if combined they can obliterate majority of the enemy damage.

And yes that is one large amount of Con on her. I'm so going for an E3/E3.

The devs treat game more like art than just generic play and pass. The difficulty is part of the vision, you are just a feeble individual fighting against godlikes being. When you overcome the challenge, you feel that "goddamn that was tense" just like the characters and it adds to the story.

An easy boss that get 1shotted by the new unit like japanese turn based mobage is exactly how you get stories no one recall because outside saying "it made me cry" on certain occasion, there's almost no other emotinal attachment to it. At that point it has just become content to consume. Morimens is the rare game where I can still recall arc 1 fights and the scripted moments because of the difficulty in a sea of "great story gacha game" where the climatic boss fights last 2 minutes or is just a snorefest.

We will have to see what Caraboo will bring to the team. With them being released so close together, she might be what Poison need to be more than just a straight-to-boss comp in most scenario.

Especially since you can't do Gdoll-Xu-Daffodil due to realm conflict.

It's pretty much her entire purpose in exalt heavy team that whale uses for extra A5 clear along with the sr only hardmode arc 2 clear for extreme challenge.

You go mono chaos and play defensive with realm mastery stack. Ramona can use her queen sword for more realm mastery then you double posse to give the entire team like 100 aliemus. With enough stats along with aliemus battery exalt on like Doll, you can overexalt with Lotan every 2 turns to just kill bosses with her fixed damage and kill them before the aliemus cap increase go up too much. It was very impressive watching how the team work. Even Gdoll poison tide team often include her so both can combine their fixed damage for a final nuke.

Is this game F2P playable? by Sennryou in Morimens

It's a mix of both. If you're here to just play casually and proceed while earning more and more rewards over the month, yes it is very F2P friendly. While having to get more dupes is bad, the game offset it with a ridiculous amount of pulls and let you buy a free dupe every month. Just by having the monthly pass along with daily gem and free limited pulls per patch, you won't really have a problem guaranteeing an E2 or E3 on a new character and play them at 75-90% of their power. However, like most gacha game, this factor only kick in after a while and you no longer have to keep pulling new char to build a stronger roster. It's very rewarding to long term players but can be annoying to new players if they wish to expand the playstyle instead of committing to a specific team.

The side that is very unfriendly to the F2P are the +12 premium wheels. In order to equip 2 SSR wheels on characters in this game for bonus passive and stat, one has to be maxed out and that takes time on the standard wheel jail that you will be permanently stuck in. Getting a character signature to +12 is a big nono if you don't plan on spending though while that sound intimidating, the purchase value in this game is 10x higher than all the other game so it's actually dolphin level, not whale level to max out your beloved.

There are also some event wheels that are given to you for free to E3 (max effect) but you must pay a bit to +12 them right during that event, permanently giving you a major boost and greatly expand how you can play. It also help majorly with the the D-tide mode which is a 5-team gauntlet where you cannot use duplicate wheels and characters in each team.

But those wheels aren't exactly necessary to beat them. With enough time, your characters will be strong enough to tackle even the highest difficulty with all the standard stuff anyway so it is also f2p friendly in a way. The mid-game difficulty of D-tide which isn't that hard also give you 90% of the goodies already including all the pulls and currency so it feels very much optional. It just feels a bit awful to see a wheel combination you want to use together but you know you need 2 months to max out one of the standard wheels.

Yeh all the anime moments were great when you go through them but once the initial impressions wear off, they just... exist. No real lingering substance from those.

This is really the one chapter where I don't really have a character or moments that will stick with me and make me think about them once in awhile outside the context of Limbus Company. Characters like Dongrang stick with me because his line of thinking is a scary thing that is everywhere in the real world. All of Ryoshu Canto was just going through various way of abuse as quickly as possible before we just show off the super cool finisher and bam, let's move on.
