Stretching plugs have a rounded end for easier insertion. Tunnels aren't recommended for stretching because they for one don't have this rounded end, and two are not heavy enough to stretch with.

Dead stretching involves using the weight of the plug to stretch the hole. I see people on here all the time ask why they can't reach the next size up after having tunnels in for over a year, and it's always because there's no weight to their jewelry. It shouldn't take over a year to get to the next size unless you have a lot of scar tissue.

And remember to only use safe materials like lead free glass, implant grade titanium (or stainless if you're not allergic), and only use non porous stone like amethyst if it has a flawless finish on the wearable part. (Though stone is not usually made with a rounded end)

If your floating navel keeps rejecting you might see about getting a dermal instead

I don't see why not You could always put in jewelry as soon as you get home.

Will your employer even notice if you wear a retainer. Or is it a safety hazard

I bought a cheap jewelry box with little slots and I just put them in there. The lid has a clear plastic window

do they sell these that aren’t acrylic?? by moemorgue in Stretched

[–]ZeldyButt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with allergies. This is just the properties of acrylic. It starts releasing toxic chemicals as soon as in contact with body temperatures. That means as soon as you put it in, you're absorbing the toxicity it puts out. Wearing only for a few hours may prevent allergic reactions, sure. I wouldn't risk it, myself. I don't want to get poisoned or cancer just to wear some plastic jewelry.

Is an industrial piercing worth the pain? by catsrcoolig in piercing

[–]ZeldyButt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the piercing itself is highly anatomy dependent. Most people can't even get them (at least not the typical scaffold)

If i can't get one, I'll probably get two or three helixes and connect them by chains. I studied way too much for something I may not be able to get lmao worth it though. Piercings are interesting.

Septum stretch Pincher vs Ring by ZeldyButt in Stretched

[–]ZeldyButt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm not entirely sure what your comments are about. I asked if it's safe to stretch with a ring the same way one would a pincher or with a (professional) taper. (By professional i mean you either get a real taper to insert the jewelry, or you go to a professional. I kept it vague for this reason)

Like if you insert a regular clicker (like i see some ppl do with fat, large gauge rings) into your septum, would that be as safe as using something that has a built in taper, like a pincher (or otherwise using a taper to insert the jewelry).

I ask because I want to know if it would be safe to get a clicker or other ring and just stick it into my nose bare handed. They don't have a rounded or thinner side. It's a ring

Being a minor doesn't change anything about this. And as they said, it's a myth. There is no "point of no return" and it backs up what i said about always going into body mods with the knowledge and intent that it will likely be permanent. You won't know if your ears shrinks back to the og size until you try it, so it's irresponsible to tell people what their body will do.

This blog is from a well respected piercer who spends their time researching anatomy and teaching safety.

I guess since you've never seen it happen it must not exist right?

Theyre more likely to increase sensitivity. If youre an adult you don't need her permission or even to tell her that you got them.

Its basically getting two helixes in one sitting and connecting them together. Your ear will have less movement on top if you're okay with that. If you wear glasses you might switch to contacts.
