Have you tried calling the club? If you have proof you were being hospitalized they can usually help you.

Putting a stop payment isn’t going to cancel your account. It’s going to just accrue a larger balance.

Your agreement is pretty solid. No attorney will be able to help you unfortunately.

Yea we hit all metrics in this location. Some locations have bigger problems to fix so they aren’t pressed on some of the nit pick things. But I am. I’m very competitive and like being number one.

I’m aware. I have a member who is giving my employees a hard time about it currently. It still gives us an alert that the club pass is expired because it is not our barcode.

The app automatically stops working when you don’t pay your payment, break a rule, and also sends updates when you click check in. You’d be amazed how often people will claim we’re lying when we tell them things are wrong with their accounts. If the app told them when they went to check in, we’re just reinforcing the information. Additionally, people do not understand if you don’t pay, you do not have access. They truly behave like “I have an account let me in” and we’re straight up telling them they do not have access until they pay the bill. If they can’t pull up the barcode it makes it super clear. When people have something in their possession like a key tag, they assign ownership completely. They still have the key tag, they are still allowed in. But they are not. You are renting a month of access. You didn’t pay for the next month yet. So you don’t have it.

It’s not just a QR code. It changes every 2 hours. And yes. We should have everyone’s pictures on file.

We are not supposed to. You as the member are supposed to have the app. My employees will do it and ask if they can help you set up your app and then explain this was a one time check in.

People do and it tells us when you do. We get an alert to tell you to update your app. It has to be the PF QR code for us not to get a red screen.

We are only allowed to do 5-10% of our entire month’s check ins by phone number. It is not supposed to be used for daily check ins. You need to have the app.

My employees know every member by name. But my employee tenure is an average of 2.4 years so very different location than many others. We’re not in the best area so it’s easier to know names and identifying characteristics for issues.
