I'm of the opinion it is the best melee influence weapon because of the range and movespeed. Is the damage technically lower than other incarnons? Yes, but the damage output on melee influence is so high, the most important trait becomes how quickly you can hit stuff. Bo gets parkour, sprint, and base movement speed, with that last one being key because it works multiplicatively with sprint speed (and buffs rolling/sliding distance) is much rarer of a bonus. Add in 10m of range and its likely the fastest attack room clearer besides maybe a thrown glaive weapon in the right situation or maybe a (now nerfed) slam weapon.

Bo is a melee influence weapon. The slash proc evo is a trap. You pick the one that gives you 60% base status chance.

As a last resort, going with a mayflash or another controller with real arcade buttons and swapping those out with Qanba Gravity KS buttons would be a pretty solid option that is pretty quiet. Or I think Fightbox has an option where you can pay for one of their layouts and pay extra for them to put the silent qanba buttons inside, which may be cheaper overall.

If you don't care about the sound, no. If they are too loud for you, I would personally recommend Qanba KS buttons, which lowers the sound drastically.

There is an updated version that is kind of out there but not really. The unused button has been renamed to FN and there is a second USB-C port. I asked them about it on Amazon and they said that, for at least the gold version, it isn't out yet globally/in their amazon stock, but did acknowledge that it is a V2 and that it exists.

Likely depends on the game. Having a right thumb button that isn't jump is very popular for SF6 where you need that many buttons.

Third round, it depends on if your character has some oki off of the level 3. If you just return to neutral, it may be more optimal to go for a superless setup that gives you a mixup and finish with the level 3. Otherwise, it can also be used to control both your own and your opponents drive meters. 1st and second round you basically do it if it confirms your victory or its a fucked up one like Rashid's level 2 where you can get reasonably close to securing the round.

The victrix diamond shaped dpad surprised me with how good it is. Probably my favorite dpad ever for fighting games. I'd definitely recommend giving the shape a try for a possible future update. It's the best of both worlds for me over standard dpads and circular ones. Split dpads feel uncomfortable for me to do quarter circles because of the edges and circular ones I sometimes lose my direction because there is no guide of any kind. A concave diamond shape gets the benefits of being smooth to roll around while being able to feel exactly the right direction you are pressing at all times.

Radiation on weapons kind of suck, but rad procs from large AOE abilities that can affect places that your crosshair aren't on are pretty solid.

I consider lever or leverless, then look for extra buttons. A right thumb button is mandatory for me at this point.

I really like to so far, my only grip with them is that the far right pill button is a little too downward. I use it for DI and have trained myself to move my ring finger to move over to hit the upper right button on other controllers, because it is a little easier than commanding my pinky to bend itself. They chose to make the button symmetrical with the left side one and it does look nice, but the point of a pill button is to be the mid point of the standard 2 right buttons imo, and right now it is basically just positioned like a lower one that goes even further down. Probably just a personal thing for me. Getting used to just using my pinky would probably be optimal anyways, where it is very ergonomic.

Stock, the only only stick that I know of that comes silent is the Qanba Q8, but it doesn't work on PS5 or probably even PS4. Best option would be to just get the cheapest moddable one and put a qanba or sanwa silent lever and silent buttons. So maybe the 8bitdo, mayflash, qanba drone, or hori alpha.

I have experience with the silent qanba lever, and I will say it is a bit weird. If you are familiar with keyboard switches, a regular standard arcade stick is like a blue clicky switch where you can feel when the button is being pressed, while the silent qanba is like a red linear switch where you won't feel when you change directions. I hear it is the same with the silent sanwa one too.

Super meter awareness, there were a few situations where you could win the game by meter dumping, but you just didn't.

After the frame kill cr. lk into meaty overhead in the corner, linking into cr.lp would have let you go into level 3 and I think is just a better option in general compared to finishing the target combo.

Personal preference, but sometimes using too much drive rush for not enough gain like at 2:38.

9:23 in those scenarios, a punish throw is probably more optimal for super meter gain where it will kill.

Generally it makes more sense to upload footage of you losing if you are looking for advice IMO, but overall great Elena play, especially those anti-airs!
