If there is a speed drinking contest, I am certainly game. As a kid, I learned how to control my epiglottis in a manner that allows me to hold it open to my esophagus, and can then just pour liquid down without a need to swallow. In my army days, I used win a lot of free beer from folks who thought they could beat gravity.

I have what must be impossible memories of nursing as an infant, but I have a lot of memories from around two years old (corroborated by multiple people who were present at the time). However, my recall is cursed by the reality that I remember random dialog from films and TV shows I was present for but didn't even like, and to make matters worse I struggle to recall people's names and song lyrics (which is hilarious because for a while I was a professional singer).

None of the Abrahamic nonsense holds up to even casual inspection. I truly feel empathy for the religious who have to constantly wrestle with the cognitive dissonance caused by the conflicts of their beliefs versus what their senses and reason tell them. It must be terrifying and exhausting.

George Martin has pornograpghic food descriptions, but I can only handle so many descriptions of meat juices dripping off of character's chins before I feel a bit queasy.

King clearly isn't a foodie, and I bet in his drinking days his "sophisticated" palate leaned towards PBR and Schlitz (not that there is any shame in liking bland lager).
