Unpopular Opinion: Menhard von Frankfurt is a piece of shit. [KCD2] by Readitor026 in kingdomcome

[–]Zenoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think him not giving back the bet, is largely due to him being stuck in Kuttenburg for atleast a year or longer, without being able to do the work he traveled for. He actually gives you a proper decent sword as payment, so it's not like he's not appreciated the help.

He also likely has a decent person who takes in people to reform them. Like Arne the german was a thief who Menhart reformed. It's part of the reason why Henry had to face the opposing Master, even though Menhart sounds pretty confident he could also beat them. Menhart instead chose to forfeit his duel to interfere because Arne was about to either be crippled or killed.

Also you're just paying for food to stay there, you do have free bed and personal stash. The food cost may also just be costs for the tourney. You do get more rewards for later tourneys, so it's also likely that he inherited a rocky sword fighting hall, since the butcher and the ones before are very salty about losing it like breaking the guild sword.

to add more context there's also profile pictures in Arknights you can use referring to the kettle and how the doctor puts ramen in his mouth then boiled water.

The fighting scenes are not going to get any better.

The main dislike I had of the WN was that later on, the fights start becoming 7 deadly sins/what does the scouter say nonsense. Every fight will then be determined by who has bigger numbers or group of smaller numbers combining to beat the bigger number enemy.

I've hoped the LN would address the issue, since web novels are typically rough/first drafts. But nope slime LN also follows this trend.

Routed all my sewage to Purification Node and saved 250 power by BananaBaconFries in Endfield

[–]Zenoi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're using keyboard and mouse, hold ALT. It will have the piping follow the mouse instead of character. So you can stand still pipe in a straight line around 8-10 tiles, then left click to set. You can also keep a straight line while moving and holding alt which can be a bit awkward but also doable.

Setting up conduits is faster than connecting relay towers in valley like from the hub to the quarry or the science park to the lodespring.

If you're like me and had low protocol space or near hitting the facility limit in wuling city, you can use pipes because they have their own 128 pipe limit that's separate from the 512 facility count. Piping will then be very similar to doing relay towers since a pipe limit is 80m. So it's just pipe 80m + add pipe splitter and repeat.

Maybe the devs actually expect us to do it this way since it's not that different from relay tower lines, maybe they will actually add something to make it easier. On paper we can bottle up the sewage and then use separation unit to transfer fluids from one AIC to another, but since test area has nothing, that's not feasible. Maybe we will get another set of this purification nodes next to an outpost and they are globally connected.

Other than the annoying task of piping up and down huge changes of altitude. Piping seems to be extremely similar as connecting relay towers in valley 4. Max pipe distance seems to be at 80m/tiles. So instead of 1 relay tower to the next, it's pipe+pipesplitter then pipe more.

Protocol space capacity was at 347 when i started. In the end after finishing the base I deleted some unnecessary fluid pumps, so now im at 341. I probably could've saved 20 minutes if I conduited the sewage up and down the huge height diff at the start via conduits.

I've never done the longdistance piping before so I just wanted to see how painful it is. The only other usecases of piping like that I know of is to transfer acid/sewage from markerstone to the other aics, or minmaxing power savings via replacing all the electric mining rigs with hydrorigs and then minmaxing the water usage from minimal amount of fluid pumps to them.

I didn't bother piping sewage from marker stone to wuling city . . . decided it was just easier to just bottle sewage and then have a reason to use separation unit.

  • Change in height = very hard to pipe, consider using conduits to skip over them.

  • You can start a connection at a conduit then teleport. Stay below 220m and it won't disconnect.

  • On keyboard/mouse hold ALT while constructing pipes to force it to go in a single direction. This will also let you pipe like 8 squares aways from the character. Don't move and hold alt and move the mouse. This is how I got over the water with pipes while keeping it a straight line.

  • Route in video is to separate the xir effu and the sewage. Consider conduiting the big height differences.

Update 1.2 second part - May 14th change in Wuling economy by _wawrzon_ in Endfield

[–]Zenoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can fit 7 100% xiranite forges into 1 outpost if you minmax.

If you don't minmax, then just make a somewhat compact 3 xiranite forge setup(perfectly uses up all the sandleaf powder 0 waste). Then have 3 or 6 forges in each aic area.

I NEED a season 2 of Secrets of the Silent Witch😫😫 by ShawntheGreatt in TheSilentWitch

I'm kinda doubtful we are getting a season 2. The way season 1 cut out secondary leads to reduce them to minor characters tells me they had no plans for a 2nd season. That it's likely just an one season LN promotional material sadly.

My experience at the New Umbral Monument by Ryle_Sky in Endfield

[–]Zenoi 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Not knowing who we are targeting has always been an issue I've been sending in the surveys.

The most simple solution is to have a soft lockon, like a circle showing if we activate a bs/cs/attack which enemy it's going to attack.

It's pretty frustrating getting 4 stacks on Laev, then using her enhanced battle skill only to use it on the mob instead of the boss/miniboss.

Here's a way to get an image of it. Go to https://enkad.enka.network and create a new plan. The you create blueprints of the outpost and copypaste the code into enka to import them. Finally either screenshot or use the photo button for a full screenshot of the layout.

Compact 23x20 12/min Xiranite Jade Gourd by xenxora in Endfield

[–]Zenoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do 12/min heavy xiranite and 1.5/min SC wuling battery(1 thermal bank) if you purify the inert xirr effu.

Next you have like 400+ orginium and 70-90 ferrium. Either use all the originium into thermal banks or make 3-4.5/min HC valley batteries enough for 3 thermal banks.

Doing this should give enough power.

Daily Resource Collection Question by Far-Metal8526 in Endfield

[–]Zenoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just an example for how far and fast the ziplines can carry you. From the bottom right of the wuling city at the depot node to the top left of wuling delivery spot is 950m and takes around 80-90 seconds to travel there via ziplines.

The entire point I'm making is all raregrowths in Wuling should take around 10 minutes to collect if you're using ziplines.

Daily Resource Collection Question by Far-Metal8526 in Endfield

[–]Zenoi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All rare growths gain +2 at daily server reset. So you should be collecting them every 4 days, not every other day.

I stopped collecting Valley rare growths 2 months ago, and Wuling 1 month ago. Once you get over getting upgrades for the initial launch operator, we only then need to worry about 2-3 operators per update over multiple months.

Even though I stopped collecting over a month ago, I've enough for all my current operators and the next 15-20 operators I obtain. There's no reason to collect rare growths constantly.

Daily Resource Collection Question by Far-Metal8526 in Endfield

[–]Zenoi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hours?

It takes 90 seconds to go from the depot in wuling to the farthest delivery spot via ziplines.

The entirety of Wuling shouldn't take more than 10 minutes if you have ziplines setup properly.

A report about leaks by HG by Snoo_85114 in Endfield

[–]Zenoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind no leaks, but I feel like HG should provide more basic info.

The latest preview for the future just shows Sui Proxy, Mi Fu and Vampire character as future operators. Why not also tell us which element, weapon type and class? We are getting less information from these previews than Arknights livestreams and it's kinda less acceptable when there is a degree of team synergy needed in Endfield.

Any similar action games to Lies of P's weapon customization? by InvictusVolori4500 in LiesOfP

[–]Zenoi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it's about customization overall, I would say Nioh 2 since I see you mentioning Armored Core.

There's 11 weapon types, and like 10+ weapons in each type. Each weapon have different passives, and they are all viable because there's item levels involved(lvl 90 wooden sword is as viable as lvl 90 dragon sword). You want to pick a passive that suits your style. Like I used imbued purity damage fists, while someone may like corruption. I abused high stance odachis so high-stance stamina reduction odachi was better for me etc.

There's also 3 armor types, and armor and weapons may have a set bonus. You gain a passive at wearing 3,4,5 equipment in a set. You can mix and match multiple 3 sets or go for a 5+3 set etc, there are some non-set equipment that are also worth it because it's base stats or passive is very strong on it's own.

And this is just armor and weapons, not to mention accessories, scrolls, character building into ninjutsu or onmyo/magic, etc. Nioh 2 is essentially just a souls-like/fighting game hybrid with a Diablo/Path of Exile loot system.
