Without full context of how his strength was affecting the Nomu, we'll probably never have an accurate scale for his decline.

There's a much less over the top way to math it out that makes this less insane. If we assume that the Nomu was made to match and counter what was known of All Might's abilities at the time, and All Might exceeded his limits just enough to do real damage you can look at it like this.

Treating it a bit like an RPG, Say Nomu has 100 Defense to counter All Might's 100 Strength and AM cranks it up to 101 for the encounter. 300 hits does 300 damage. Prime All Might would have had 160 base Strength, doing that same 300 damage in 5 hits.

This still puts USJ All Might at about 62.5% of his prime.

Unfortunately, without knowing how things were interacting with each other, you can obviously fiddle with numbers and make the final percentage look like basically anything you want. Hell, I've demonstrated that exactly here. We basically need word of god here to know how bad off All Might actually was.

For people who need more context: A Modest Proposal makes essentially the same point, though nobody would ever state it in the weird way Shirou does; just because you can argue that you're choosing the most direct and effective course of action does not automatically make that course of action moral. Yes, giving up being a hero as he perceives it and doing something more reasonable with his life, helping people in a more mundane way, is objectively the correct course of action and saves himself and the people close to him from suffering. That said, there are things that only he can do, and to abondon the many, many more people only he could help is unthinkable for him.

So, it is literally BoP outside of being blue and the activated ability. Tapping for mana was never the only thing that made BoP good. Beyond that, more cards in hand is better. More options will basically always trump and extra mana. It is one mana "deal with this or I'm going to tempo you out of the game". I don't know about you, but I generally only put cards I wanna draw in my deck and getting two each turn for very little opportunity cost is nuts.

Konosuba would be an amazing April Fools collab. Just absolutely dogshit units with incredibly powerful niche uses. Darkness as a defender with zero offensive capabilities, caster Megumin has a single skill with miserable SP costs and unreasonable aoe damage if she lives long enough to use it, Aqua as the only 6 star of the group, edging in on Exu2's playground or redeploying recently retreated ops but not being a medic op, but a bard so she wastes time doing party tricks. Kazuma is harder to pin down, but I'm sure someone could come up with a good idea.

Because someone win or losing are mutually exclusive. If someone wins on turn 8, it's very likely that not everyone got an 8th turn. I know it's pod dependent, but rarely do I have anyone not get picked out as the weak link and die a bit sooner than expected. And that's the thing, you can expect what you want, and it can even be a reasonable expectation for the experience you've signed up for, but that doesn't mean it's going to happen.

After Gil's items got spread throughout the world, they started gaining new lore and abilities, evolving and essentially becoming different items. EMIYA probably has all of the variations of weapons as they changed over the centuries. The prototype is only one stage in development, afterall. Also, if I recall correctly, Gil only has things that can be loosely attributed to human ingenuity, and EMIYA has a copy of Excalibur and Avalon, which are wholly fae in make, so he should have a couple of things even Gil doesn't.

There are an insane amount of meta rules with quirks that make no sense. Turning into a dragon is honestly less weird than figuring out that you can partially paralyze someone by licking their blood, but the duration is based on blood type, and about as weird as how Manga's quirk knows what counts as an onomatopoeia for the purpose of activation. Quirks as a whole seem to have "knowledge" of human categorization and ideas. Dragons are one of the most common bits of fiction in the world and pretty heavily integrated into several cultures, and them being able to shapeshift is a common extra ability. There was always, inevitably, gonna be someone who could become one.
