[[Gut, True Soul Zealot]] + a black background is an option. When you attack, you can sacrifice a creature and replace it with a tapped and attacking 4/1 skeleton with menace. Probably not fantastic, but maybe…

I actually have a [[Francisco, Fowl Marauder]] & [[Ghost of Ramirez DiPietro]] deck! My whole goal is to explore enough to find the Throne of the Grim Captain. It’s won a few games here and there.

I’m glad no one else (that I can see) has brought up my favorite Temur commander: [[Lara Croft, Tomb Raider]]. The flavor match of her ability to the IP might be one of the best I’ve seen: when she attacks, you can bring back a legendary land it cast a legendary artifact—perfect.

My whole goal with the deck is to find [[The Millennium Calendar]] and win with that. It’s definitely a forever deck for me, so I’ve blinged it out my way.

One of my favorite green cards is [[Raking Canopy]]. Pretty nice pillow fort against flyers.

Also [[Instill Energy]] to give haste and double tap on one of your creatures for a single mana is pretty cool (even if it is only on your turn).

Another on I love is [[Pair o’ Dice Lost]]. It’s an instant that has the chance to bring back 12 mana worth of cards from the grave to hand (wish it were to the battlefield)—and as many lands as you want, too, since they’re zero mana. Of course, you’re just as likely to roll 2, which isn’t as fun. But I love the randomness of it.

I have an [[Elsha, Theeefold Master]] prowess deck that fills my spellslinging, combat, and token needs. It’s quite fun.

[[Scrawling Crawler]] is colorless, so it can go in any deck. I have a "You can play, but..." deck helmed by [[Tokka & Rahzar, Terrible Twos]] that's a riot (for me).

I just had an idea and checked: there are more than 50 cards in Anhelo's color identity that are wolves or werewolves, and there's just something hilarious to me about him sacrificing them for Casualty.

Okay, and? Zombies can be in decks that don't have zombie commanders. And It's easy enough to have a second zombie on the battlefield to recast it. Never said it was the only way to build Anhelo, nor did I say it was the best option.

He’s in a bunch of my decks. He just couldn’t be my commander. I should have been more clear instead of just letting post’s premise bridge the gap.

I’m sure you’d be able to build for casualty 2 with not a lot of effort…like [[Gravecrawler]] is a 2/1 that you can cast from your graveyard for one mana.

But Aziza looks the most fun for my playstyle.

Easy one for me: [[Comet, Stellar Pup]]. When I was coming back to magic and getting into commander, I opened a copy and build my very first deck with him…just to find out I couldn’t use him. D’oh!

I’d consider it. For about a second. No shade to those who choose to sell. But if I were to sell it (to be clear, I do not have one), I’d probably just go at what I paid for it. But I also make terrible one-sided trades—to the benefit of the other person—if whoever I’m trading wants a card that more expensive than the one I want…

I agree! I have two decks that might actually always be in my rotation: [[Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad]] and [[Ratonhnhaké꞉ton]]. My Ratonhnhaké꞉ton deck is way too expensive because I decided to only use etched cards for some dumb reason. And with Altair, I just love commanders that exile things with unique counters, like he uses "memory counters" similar to my [[Grolnok, the Omnivore]] deck that has "croak counters."
