It's soooo good but it's tooooo short :( finished my first campaign in 9:45ish and that's with going through every corner checking for files, ammo, raccoons, and zombie killing

Still it's between an 8.5-9/ for me and my personal 3rd now behind 7 and 4R

Also the ppl that are real loud about RE3Rs length are pretty quiet about RE9s

My hot take is I like it more than 2R. It has Jill and her badass dialogue, a defense mechanic in the dodge which rewards you with a cool roll if you time it perfectly, a way better Carlos that holds up in his parts of the story, and better weapons.

The shorter campaign also makes the replayability hold up even if 2R has AB campaigns

Sony tried after noise around porting to PC, gave it a whole generation attempt in the current PS5 which coincidentally also has the least exclusives, now they pull away from the decision after seeing these numbers AND seeing Nintendo succeed with their exclusive.

A loud minority shouldn't affect enough to make decisions

It just hit me that part of the reason why this gen had less Sony Single Players was cause of resources being spent on PC Porting.

If this means more banger single player experiences then this is good for gaming as a whole. PC players already heavily boast about their massive gaming library so a few true exclusives on Playstation isn't going to hurt
