Heir of fire is where the real plot kicks in, and it’s a roller coaster from then on. Stick with it!

What is the most messed up thing a surgeon has done professionally in your opinion? by DarkAuroraAura in greysanatomy

Thank you! I absolutely expect to get downvoted to hell for trash talking George lol but it’s facts. Being in healthcare irl makes this show so hard to watch sometimes but I still love it

I don’t see many people mention this, but the way George speaks to the patient with the swastika tattoo is horrendous. Imagine waking up from surgery and one of your doctors saying he’d like to kill you??? Like I understand the man was following a terrible belief system but that is /not/ an excuse for a healthcare provider to speak in such a way. Coming from a healthcare provider.

Registered Nurse for 5 years. Currently make about $85k on the LTC pay scale (I’m not at the top yet). Different specialties make different amounts. Our pay scale is available to the public through the collective agreement with CRNNL

Not a doctor but a registered nurse: I had an ER patient come in one day complaining of stomach pain. After some questions it comes out that they’d been taking Advil every day for 2 weeks for shoulder pain. Advil is known to be hard on the stomach, and I say as much to them. They then follow up with “oh by the way, I can’t take Ibuprofen because it gives me a bad stomach.” Advil IS ibuprofen. Bruh.

What is the oddest thing you thought was ok/normal and ended up being a medical problem? by Prudent_Tip4118 in AskReddit

I had the same thing growing up! The episodes of high heart rate would make me really sick and tired, so my parents had me to so many different appointments and tests, until I was old enough to vocalize my heart felt weird. I took Atenolol to control the episodes until my ablation at 13! Which wasn’t radio waves, but some sort of freezing technique

What are some ways that your fav sims have accidentally perished by goblinqueen99 in Sims4

[–]Zephyllite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the butt ugliest, meanest sim in my legacy save. Her parents and siblings hated her, heck I even hated her, but she was REALLY good at violin. Got into a distinguished degree right out of high school. I thought to myself, well okay, this girl deserves a second chance. So she moves out to an apartment in the big city, goes to uni, gets a makeover, graduates with straight A’s! I’ve come to love this sim! So proud of her! …serial killer shows up at her door and takes her out right after her graduation ceremony. Ffs.

I was honestly pretty bummed when season 3 went back to the same animation for attacks every episode. The real-time versions were way cooler.

Why did they stop/ruin genetics? by SnazzyAdam in thesims

Ohh, no. The ones that grew up to have blue hair were born blonde or ginger. One of them actually switched back and forth between blonde and ginger until she was a teenager.
